La adaptación cultural en estudiantes extranjeros

En este trabajo, se desarrolla el concepto de adaptación cultural, particularmente se aborda la adaptación de los estudiantes extranjeros. Se plantean diferentes modelos explicativos y se comentan diferentes niveles de adaptación. Se trabaja con conceptos como aculturación y estrés por aculturación. Por último, se comentan algunas de las investigaciones que abordaron los factores que favorecen la integración del estudiante extranjero.

The aim of this study was to investigate how physical limitations after ACS influence patients’ quality of life and health perception. This was a longitudinal clinical study. We recruited 146 patients diagnosed with ACS. The patients performed a stress test (Bruce’s protocol) for the evaluation of physical limitations and were classified according to the test result: without physical limitations (more than 10 METS), with some physical limitations (7 to 9 METS), and with high physical limitations (less than 6 METS). Cost-efficacy of oral triptans in the treatment of acute migraine

SummaryThe objective of this study was to compare the efficiency of oral triptans currently used in the treatment of acute migraine in Spain. Using a decision analytic model, a cost-efficacy analysis was performed from the payer's perspective. Efficacy was assessed in terms of sustained pain-free patients, with data extracted from a recent meta-analysis of clinical trials. Chest-related and central nervous system-related adverse events were also considered. En aquest article presentem una anàlisi de les sis adaptacions que del Llibre de les Bèsties (1287- 1289) es van publicar per al públic infantil i juvenil amb motiu de l’Any Llull (2015-2016). Després de presentar la figura de Ramon Llull com a escriptor de referència en l’època medieval i de situar Llibre de les Bèsties dins de la producció literària de Llull, analitzem els paratextos extratextuals i textuals de les sis adaptacions aquí estudiades. Historia de vida de un alumno con distrofia muscular

La distrofia muscular es una enfermedad que avanza muy rápida entre los 7 y los 12 años y poco común. Sus síntomas son la falta de movilidad en las extremidades y complicaciones a la hora de respirar. En este trabajo, a partir de la historia de vida de un adolescente con distrofia muscular de Duchenne, se pretende analizar cuáles son las dificultades que sufren los niños que la padecen en la escuela tanto a nivel material como a nivel de implicación y trabajo de los educadores. Esto ligado a una propuesta de con actividades que podrían realizar los maestros y maestras dentro de su aula con un alumnado con dicha enfermedad.

En el presente estudio de investigación educativa, los principales objetivos perseguidos son encontrar las posibles causas del fracaso escolar y el retorno al sistema educativo, mediante una muestra de 100 alumnos/as del C.F.P.A Germà Colón de Castelló de la Plana. Se ha utilizado una encuesta, que pretende reflejar las posibles influencias que han llevado al alumnado al fracaso escolar, así como el porqué de su retorno. Se presenta el contenido de una intervención con un alumno de educación infantil afectado de parálisis cerebral. La intervención se basa en una adaptación de acceso al currículum consistente en el diseño de tareas y actividades educativas con soporte informático accesible al alumno y adecuadas al nivel curricular propio para su edad y curso académico. Esta metodología garantiza al alumno un acceso al currículum minimizando los efectos de sus problemas de movilidad.

In North America, the pea aphid Acyrthosiphon pisum encompasses ecologically and genetically distinct host races that offer an ideal biological system for studies on sympatric speciation. In addition to its obligate symbiont Buchnera, pea aphids harbour several facultative and phylogenetically distant symbionts. We explored the relationships between host races of A. pisum and their symbiotic microbiota to gain insights into the historical process of ecological specialization and symbiotic acquisition in this aphid.
