Conservatism and novelty in the genetic architecture of adaptation in Heliconius butterflies.
2015
Understanding the genetic architecture of adaptive traits has been at the centre of modern evolutionary biology since Fisher; however, evaluating how the genetic architecture of ecologically important traits influences their diversification has been hampered by the scarcity of empirical data. Now, high-throughput genomics facilitates the detailed exploration of variation in the genome-to-phenotype map among closely related taxa. Here, we investigate the evolution of wing pattern diversity in Heliconius, a clade of neotropical butterflies that have undergone an adaptive radiation for wing-pattern mimicry and are influenced by distinct selection regimes. Using crosses between natural wing-pat…
Data for: Determination of water speciation in hydrous haplogranitic glasses with partial Raman spectra
2020
Figure 5Computed partial Raman spectra characterizing the Raman scattering activity of OH- and H2Om -species present in hydrous haplogranitic glasses.Figure 6Decomposition of the Raman spectral bands characteristic for the stretching vibrations of water species into the individual species contributions. Shown are spectra (= partial Raman spectra x species abundances) from hydrous HPG8 glasses. THIS DATASET IS ARCHIVED AT DANS/EASY, BUT NOT ACCESSIBLE HERE. The spatial dimension of the French private rental markets: Evidence from microgeographic data in 2015
2021
International audience; This article draws on data collected by local rental observatories in 12 French urban units in 2015 to analyze the spatial dimension of hedonic rental prices in the private rental market through (i) the spatial heterogeneity between urban units and (ii) the wide variety of contextual and locational characteristics (socio-economic, environmental (dis)amenity, and accessibility) and flexible specifications to capture their potential non-linear influence on rent. Based on a joint test of equality of coefficients across all urban units, we find that hedonic prices differ for 75% of the characteristics, thereby justifying a detailed analysis of heterogeneity. A Mosaic of Suburbs: The Historic Boroughs of Palermo
2013
Palermo suburbs have grown and developed at the expense of becoming isolated from other parts of the city. Ancient boroughs have been eradicated, alongside their urban identities. The challenges of a cosmopolitan and global world are felt even in middle-sized, fringe cities like Palermo, as its suburbs are forced to become tiles of an urban mosaic that is created by urban development. It is the duty of urban scholars to clarify and strengthen the relationships between these urban parts, and in the process restore the neglected notion of neighborhood. By overcoming the distinction between cities and urban sprawl, the controversial dispute may be resolved by urban scholars. Through historica…

This article compares the communication strategies of party and candidate accounts on Instagram during the 2017 German federal election. Building upon previous research, we conceptualize how the di...
2001
A prospective approach along four lines : a regional experience, an European collaboration, a sector of activity The prospective approach must be based on a shared diagnosis, which combines quantitative and qualitative data, serves as main theme in order to suggest some strategies of actions. At the moment here is not a real labour shortage in the hotel and catering sector in Burgundy. The main problem is to improve the conditions and organisation of the work time in order to reduce the employees' leaving from the industry.
Control cuantitativo de la calidad en una empresa del sector servicios = Quantitative quality control in a company of the service industry
2013
Ab initio determination of the electron affinities of DNA and RNA nucleobases
2008
High-level quantum-chemical ab initio coupled-cluster and multiconfigurational perturbation methods have been used to compute the vertical and adiabatic electron affinities of the five canonical DNA and RNA nucleobases: uracil, thymine, cytosine, adenine, and guanine. The present results aim for the accurate determination of the intrinsic electron acceptor properties of the isolated nucleic acid bases as described by their electron affinities, establishing an overall set of theoretical reference values at a level not reported before and helping to rule out less reliable theoretical and experimental data and to calibrate theoretical strategies.
