Autorità amministrative indipendenti e istituzioni politiche: questioni problematiche

2019

Autonomia funzi…

Corresponsabilità educativa nei servizi 0-6. La percezione di genitori e insegnanti.

2021

The 0-6 years integrated education service has opened new perspectives on parental participation and the forms in which it can be developed and put into practice. This paper intends to offer a theoretical framework relating to the role of families and the participation in the context of education services, based on a dialogue between family and education services. Through a survey conducted in the city of Palermo, some indications are proposed with respect to ways of improving the school-family co-education synergy, suggesting some good practices for a constructive and mutually responsible alliance.

2017

This paper is a critical essay on the social value of craftsmen in ancient Greece as well of the merit and ethic responsibility connected to the social use of their skills and forms of knowledge, the so-called technai. On one hand a low grade of social consideration was attributed to craftsmen, especially among the upper classes in the Greek cities; on the other hand, craft and technical skills were an essential medium for all the material products and commodities to be supplied for the citizens. The origins of this ambiguous relationship between society and technical skills seem to lie in the particular social and political conditions of Greek craftsmen, mostly foreign people at the dispos…

2021

Since Freeman's work (1984), dialogue with stakeholders has become a central theme in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) (Bonnafous-Boucher & Pesqueux 2006; Brown & Dillard 2015; Brown et al. 2020).This dialogue is strongly encouraged by international standards (ISO 26000, GRI, IIRC, AA1000SES, OCDE Principles), which describe it as a tool to inform the decisions of organizations and to allow stakeholders to make their views heard. While the concept of dialogue is omnipresent in the literature, the use of dialogue as a management device is little questioned and documented in scientific studies. How is the dialogue organized by companies? What are the roles of stakeholders? In…

2022

The history of yesterday and today – think of the emergency caused by the spread of the infection from Covid- 19 – tells us about the suspension of constitutional guarantees, reason of State and emergencies that justify the limitation or cancellation of fundamental rights; as well as “full powers” granted to governments and continuous attempts to consider the freedoms recognized as excessive in relation to the needs of social control or economic development. In this context, a relationship that tends to be equal between the State and the individual has been accompanied by an unequal relationship in which the inequality is the fundamental constitutional rule, since everyone knows that subjec…

2018

The spectacularization of news, with the recent passage from “information to sensation” typical of emotainment, has made the question of the ethical dimension of newsmedia even more problematic, revealing unforeseen consequences, too often described as risks, of show perspective in journalistic narration. The issue of the social responsibility of the media is addressed through a critical reading of the “Italian declination” of the show- journalism, focusing on the question on the relationship between the vision of suffering offered to distracted viewers of planetary audiences and their concrete possibilities of a consequent action to stop them.
