Investigating teacher leadership in Cameroon secondary education : a case of two public schools

Teacher leadership is crucial in improving schools and enhancing student learning. In Cameroon, the hierarchical nature of leadership and the internal school structures encourage the partition of roles and responsibilities and a clear separation of power and authority. E-apmācības aplikāciju izmantošana vācu valodas stundās vidusskolās

Bakalaura darbā tiek aplūkota vidusskolas skolēnu motivācija mācīties vācu valodu, kā arī E-Learning aplikāciju izmantošana valodas apgūšanai. Darba mērķis ir ar aptaujas palīdzību noskaidrot, vai vidusskolas skolēni izmanto kādu no E-Learning aplikācijām, lai mācītos vācu valodu. Aptaujā piedalījās 33 skolēni no Salaspils 2. vidusskolas un Rīgas 13. vidusskolas. No iegūtajiem rezultātiem tika secināts, ka vidusskolas skolēni ir motivēti mācīties vācu valodu un uzskata, ka tā būtu vajadzīga nākotnē darbā, ceļojumos vai izglītībā. Darba hipotēze netika apstiprināta.

This article examines secondary school student and teachers cooperation through learning mathematics. The aim of the study is to find out whether the teacher and student cooperation is a partnership. The partnership is viewed as a cooperation where involved work toward mutual goals. Secondary school student - teacher partnership is possible if the teacher trusts students and together with them chooses the learning objectives, the teaching aids and methods of learning. Student‐athletes who strive for success in high‐level sports while pursuing upper secondary education may be prone to sport and school burnout. This study examined the co‐developmental dynamic of sport and school burnout in Finnish adolescent student‐athletes (Ntime 1 = 391; Ntime 2 = 373) across the first year of upper secondary school using cross‐lagged structural equation modeling (SEM). Konkordances atbalstīta angļu valodas kā svešvalodas apguve vidusskolas skolēniem

Mūsdienu pasauli raksturo tehnoloģiju straujā attīstība, kā arī angļu valodas kā lingua franca statusa nostiprināšanās. Diplomdarba mērķis ir atrast rīku, kas nodrošinātu jauniešiem nepieciešamās svešvalodas prasmes. Pētījumā tika ievākti dati no 203 anketām un piecām intervijām ar mērķi noskaidrot vidusskolas skolēnu valodas apguves ieradumus. Pētījums atklāja, ka vidusskolas skolēni savā ikdienā plaši pielieto tehnoloģijas un ir atvērti tehnoloģijās balstītai svešvalodas apguvei. Tādēļ izaicinājumi, kurus rada angļu valodas kā svešvalodas apguve, piemēram, gramatika, idiomas un pareizrakstība, varētu tikt risināti ar tehnoloģiju starpniecību.
