Il contributo ricostruisce i momenti salienti della fabbrica dell'antico Seminario Arcivescovile di Palermo, a partire dalla fondazione, nel XVI secolo, fino agli adeguamenti e alle trasformazioni del XX secolo. Il testo si sofferma sulle rilevanze storico-artistiche dell'edificio che sono sopravvissute nell'ambito della ricerca sulle sedi di archivi storici sull'asse del Cassaro di Palermo.
The PROVIDE Traning Courses for proximity violence' professionals

The chapter describes a prototype of training course for "Expert operators in proximity violence" focusing on asylum-seeking migrant women victims of violence and implemented in three European States. In particular it defines: the rationale of training by modules in adapting individual abilities of professionals of migrazion field to the professional goals to be achieved (1), the methodological implementation of the PROVIDE courses (2) and the significance of the experiential seminars conducted (3).

Generic concept of the phytoseiids (Acari: Phytoseiidae) according to Athias-Henriot

The economic importance of the Phytoseiidae motivated many scientists to work on the systematics of this family. One of them was the French acarologist Claire Athias-Henriot. In her first work, she tackled the question of supraspecific groupings within this family from an evolutionistic point of view, and suggested a system for numbering dorsal shield setae, that could be applied to both hypotrichous and holotrichous forms. The online resource Wikipedia is increasingly used by students for knowledge acquisition and learning. However, the lack of a formal editorial review and the heterogeneous expertise of contributors often results in skepticism by educators whether Wikipedia should be recommended to students as an information source. In this study we systematically analyzed the accuracy and completeness of drug information in the German and English language versions of Wikipedia in comparison to standard textbooks of pharmacology.
