Kavereiden tuen yhteys lasten ja nuorten liikunta-aktiivisuuteen ja seuraharrastamiseen

Tämän pro gradu -tutkielman tarkoituksena oli selvittää kavereiden yhteyttä lasten ja nuorten liikunta-aktiivisuuteen ja urheiluseurassa harrastamiseen. Tutkielmassa tarkasteltiin viides-, seitsemäs- ja yhdeksäsluokkalaisten lasten ja nuorten liikuntakäyttäytymistä sekä sitä, millainen yhteys heidän kavereillaan siihen oli. Tutkimus perustui maaliskuussa 2016 kerättyyn valtakunnallisen LIITU-tutkimuksen aineistoon. LIITU-tutkimuksen aineisto kerättiin sähköisellä kyselylomakkeella ja vastaajia oli yhteensä 5586. Unpacking the link between family socioeconomic status and civic engagement during the transition to adulthood: Do work values play a role?

We investigated whether the link between family-of-origin socioeconomic status (SES) and civic engagement in young adulthood is mediated by youth’s work values, i.e., the desired characteristics of their current or future jobs. We used data from a Finnish study: 2004 (age 16–18, NT1 = 1,301); 2011 (age 23–25, N T2 = 1,096); and 2014 (age 25–27, NT3 = 1,138). A lower family SES in 2004 was negatively related to youth’s civic engagement in 2014. Lower family SES predicted the importance that youth attached to extrinsic job rewards (e.g., good pay) in 2011, but not the importance of intrinsic job rewards (e.g., learning opportunities). Although a large number of theories justify the presence of games in school, all of them converge in two of the educational functions described by Biesta, socialization and qualification. In contrast to this instrumental educational approach, the present article aims to develop the bases for a philosophy of physical education (PE) oriented toward the game as an object. This proposal is supported by Suits¿ theory of games and the object-oriented philosophy (OOP) introduced by Harman. Prężność, rozumiana jako właściwość jednostki, która decyduje o umiejętności skutecznego radzenia sobie w sytuacjach trudnych, jest zasobem osobistym sprzyjającym procesowi pozytywnej adaptacji do warunków środowiskowych. Celem przeprowadzonych badań było rozpoznanie prężności nieletnich umieszczonych w placówkach resocjalizacyjnych w porównaniu z prężnością młodzieży nieskonfliktowanej z prawem. W badaniach zastosowano Skalę Pomiaru Prężności autorstwa Niny Ogińskiej-Bulik i Zygfryda Juczyńskiego. Abstract Peers become increasingly important socializing agents for academic behaviors and attitudes during adolescence. This study investigated peer influence and selection effects on adolescents' emotional (i.e., flow in schoolwork, school burnout, school value), cognitive (i.e., school effort), and behavioral (i.e., truancy) engagement in school.
