Una statua recentemente ricomposta nell'Antiquarium di Solunto, ad un esame dettagliato, risulta essere un assemblaggio di parti pertinenti in origine ad almeno due statue improntate al cd. tipo della Kore di Prassitele, una delle quali pare avere inoltre subito la sostituzione del ritratto originario con una nuova effigie femminile. Lo studio iconografico-stilistico consente di riconoscere nel ritratto attualmente preservato, in piccola parte, sulla fronte Agrippina Maggiore e nel frammento posteriore un'effigie ugualmente di età neroniana. We give different representations of the solutions of the Johnson equation with parameters. First, an expression in terms of Fredholm determinants is given; we give also a representation of the solutions written as a quotient of wronskians of order 2N. These solutions of order N depend on 2N − 1 parameters. When one of these parameters tends to zero, we obtain N order rational solutions expressed as a quotient of two polyno-mials of degree 2N (N +1) in x, t and 4N (N +1) in y depending on 2N −2 parameters. From first to fourth order rational solutions to the Boussinesq equation

Rational solutions to the Boussinesq equation are constructed as a quotient of two polynomials in x and t. For each positive integer N , the numerator is a polynomial of degree N (N + 1) − 2 in x and t, while the denominator is a polynomial of degree N (N + 1) in x and t. So we obtain a hierarchy of rational solutions depending on an integer N called the order of the solution. We construct explicit expressions of these rational solutions for N = 1 to 4.

Sustainable Recycling of Insoluble Rust Waste for the Synthesis of Iron-Containing Perovskite-Type Catalysts

Insoluble rust waste from the scraping of rusted iron-containing materials represents a cheap, eco-friendly, and available source of iron. LaFeO3 perovskite-type powders were successfully prepared by solution combustion synthesis using rust waste from an electricity transmission tower manufacturer. Solution combustion synthesis enabled introduction of this insoluble iron precursor directly into the final product, bypassing complex extraction procedures. In the Sahel, the rapid increase of the population during the last decades and the climate variation lead to an important environmental degradation. This work aims to measure the impacts of the human pressure on ecosystem during the six last decades. A diachronic cartography of a 100 km² area close to Niamey was done with aerial photographs (1950 and 1975) and GPS measurements (2009). Results showed that the tiger bush vegetation was completely cleared between 1950 and 2009 while the fallow decreases from 7 % to 1 %. Saccharides, and in particular trehalose, are known for their efficiency in protecting biostructures against environmental stress [1], although the preservation mechanism is still debated. Experiments and simulations [2,3] on carboxy-myoglobin (MbCO) showed that the protein dynamics is highly inhibited in dry trehalose matrices, the inhibition being dependent on the water content.
