Decreases in aerobic fitness during military operations have been observed in several studies. Thus, differences in training adaptations during a 6-month crisis-management operation were compared by using the change in endurance performance as the outcome measure. Sixty-six male soldiers volunteered for the study, consisting of pre–post assessments of blood biomarkers, body composition, physical performance, and the military simulation test (MST) performance. Physical fitness is crucial to warfighters' performance in the battlefield. Previous studies have shown negative changes in their hormonal and neuromuscular responses induced by military field training (MFT). The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes in hormonal and immunological values and body composition during a prolonged MFT and to find out how warfighters' physical condition influences these changes. Resume Ce rapport de cas aborde l’interet de l’echographie pulmonaire en kinesitherapie respiratoire chez une patiente presentant une pneumopathie. L’utilisation de l’echographie pulmonaire dans le processus de decision clinique pourrait aider le kinesitherapeute a choisir avec plus de precision la strategie therapeutique. Basado en la teoria de las necesidades psicologicas basicas, se puso a prueba un modelo en el cual la presentacion de las tareas realizada por el entrenador predice la satisfaccion de las necesidades psicologicas basicas y el bienestar psicologico en los atletas universitarios. La muestra estuvo compuesta por un total de 468 deportistas (302 hombres y 166 mujeres), con edades comprendidas entre los 17 y los 28 a˜nos (M = 19.2; DT = 1.89), que cumplimentaron los instrumentos que evaluaban las variables del estudio. In recent years, qualitative research has gained popularity and legitimacy in sport and exercise psychology. However, this scientific discipline has not yet paid attention to postqualitative inquiry (PQI), despite the possibilities it offers for producing different knowledge and producing knowledge differently. The present article is the first attempt to rectify this lack of attention by offering a brief and partial sketch of PQI in the context of sport and exercise psychology.
