Cerebral vasculitis that comprises a group of noninfectious inflammatory vasculitides, can produce a variety of neurologic events, including also life-threatening ones. In this paper we describe the case report of a 37-year-old female patient with cerebral vasculitis manifesting as ischemic stroke of the left cerebral hemisphere. Her clinical status deteriorated, despite immunosuppression. CT angiography demonstrated several occlusions of intracranial arteries. We describe details of endovascular revascularization of intracranial arteries in this patient, with focus at the use of the Solitaire stent, which seems to be particularly useful in such challenging cases. Early results of a low-profile stent-graft for thoracic endovascular aortic repair

Purpose To assess outcomes of a low-profile thoracic stent-graft in the treatment of thoracic aortic pathologies. Methods A retrospective analysis of all consecutive patients with aortic thoracic pathologies treated with the RelayPro device in two university hospitals between October 2018 and July 2019. Results 23 patients (65% men; mean age 63.4 ± 15 years) were treated. Pathologies included aortic dissections (n = 10), 5 residual type A (22%) and 5 type B (22%), 6 degenerative aortic aneurysms (26%), 4 penetrating aortic ulcers (17%), and aortic erosion, intramural hematoma and aortic rupture (n = 1 and 4% in each case). We report the case of a 67-year-old male, with previous history of severe peripheral vascular disease (abdominal aorta aneurism and bilateral iliac stenosis) requiring the implantation of 3 endoprostheses 7 months ago (Figure 1(A)), and previous myocardial infarction 10 years ago. The left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) was preserved at last control (58%). The patient was referred for acute coronary syndrome complicated with pulmonary oedema and cardiogenic shock. INTRODUCTION: we describe the first case in literature of biliary stent obstruction by bezoar impaction in a iuxtapapillary duodenal diverticulum. CASE REPORT: this case illustrates an juxtapapillary duodenal diverticulum and bezoar in it causing obstructive jaundice in subject with two biliary stents for cholangiocarcinoma (Klatskin's tumor) in the absence of bile duct stones. RESULT: successful treatment with endoscopic stent removal and diverticulum toilette. Obstructive jaundice was cured after endoscopic removal of the bezoar and stent substitution.
