Effects of ATP, adenosine and purinoceptor antagonists on field stimulation-evoked (3 Hz, 2 min) [3H]-noradrenaline overflow were investigated in the rat isolated iris. ATP and adenosine inhibited the evoked overflow of [3H]-noradrenaline. 1,3-Dipropyl-8-cyclopentylxanthine (DPCPX) shifted the concentration-response curve of ATP to the right in a concentration-dependent manner, but with a potency (-log KB = 7.88) much lower than expected for an A1 adenosine receptor. In the continuous presence of DPCPX, the ATP-induced prejunctional inhibition was unaffected by suramin (100 mumol/l) and DIDS (4,4'-diisothiocyanatostilbene-2,2'-disulfonic acid, 50 mumol/l) but was antagonized by the P2Y-rece…

In this study with a sample of chronic pain patient, personality profiles defined as the individual’s scores on all five dimensions (NEO-FFI) are used, to establish relations with coping, quality of life, and adaptation to disease. After a cluster analysis two groups have been obtained: the first one being a trend to intermediate scores in all five dimensions and characterized by moderate neuroticism, average extraversion, low openness, moderate agreeableness, and moderate conscientiousness, whereas the second one is characterized by traits of vulnerability determined by high neuroticism, low extraversion, low openness, moderate agreeableness and low conscientiousness. Šī pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt vai un kā ar apmierinātību ar dzīvi saistīti dažādi humora stili. Pētījumā piedalījās 423 respondenti vecumā no 16 - 72 gadiem, no kuriem 66,7% dalībnieku ir sievietes, 33,3% ir vīrieši. Respondenti elektroniskā veidā aizpildīja Humora stilu aptauju, kas mēra četrus humora stilus (biedrisko, pašuzmundrinošo, agresīvo un sevi noliedzošo), Apmierinātības ar dzīvi skalu, kas norāda uz to, cik cilvēks jūtas labi saistībā ar savu dzīvi, un BENCOR – aptauju, kas mēra labvēlīgo un korektīvo humora stilu. Quest'area fu scavata negli anni '50 e '60 del secolo scorso, ma è con la pubblicazione di E. De Miro, avvenuta solo nel 2009, che è stato possibile conoscere i risultati delle indagini. Vecāku audzināšanas stila un skolēna mācību motivācijas saistība ar mācību sasniegumiem

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, vai pastāv saistība starp mātes un tēva audzināšanas stilu un bērna mācību motivāciju un mācību sasniegumiem. Pamatojoties uz analizētajiem pētījumiem, bakalaura darbā tiek pārbaudīts, vai pastāv saistība starp autoritatīvo, autoritāro un visatļaujošo audzināšanas stilu un bērna mācību sasniegumiem, mācību motivāciju. Bakalaura darba ietvaros tika aptaujāti 73 skolēni vecumā no 13 – 16 gadiem. Empīriskajā daļā tika izmantotas Vecāku autoritātes aptauja, Iekšējās motivācijas aptauja. The paper explores the link between human becoming and biographical narrative, within the empathy-centred existential dialogue. The existential dialogue should not be assimilated to a psychotherapeutic method: it is, rather, a special care relationship within an educational perspective.
