Estilos parentales y resultados de la socialización familiar a corto y largo plazo: un estudio con adolescentes y adultos mayores españoles

ABSTRACT In this study, the association between parenting styles and short- and long-term socialization outcomes was analyzed using a two-dimensional model of four types of parenting styles. The socialization outcomes analyzed were self-esteem and internalization of social values. Participants were a sample of Spanish adolescents (n = 571) and older adults (n = 527). Results showed that both adolescents and older adults from indulgent families reported equal or even higher self-esteem than those from authoritative households, whereas those from neglectful and authoritarian homes were consistently associated with the lowest levels of self-esteem. Evaluamos los estilos de docencia y evaluación de 323 profesores universitarios mediante el cuestionario CEMEDEPU. The importance of metabolic syndrome (MetS) lies in its associated risk of cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes, as well as other harmful conditions such as nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. In this report, the available scientific evidence on the associations between lifestyle changes and MetS and its components is reviewed to derive recommendations for MetS prevention and management. Weight loss through an energy-restricted diet together with increased energy expenditure through physical activity contribute to the prevention and treatment of MetS. Isobutyl alcohol (IBA) has been proposed as a solvent to carry out the dehydration of ethanol and 1-propanol by means of a nonconventional distillation process. In this way, isobaric vapor–liquid equilibrium (VLE) and vapor–liquid–liquid equilibrium (VLLE) data at atmospheric pressure have been obtained for the ternary systems ethanol (1a) + water (2) + IBA (3) and 1-propanol (1b) + water (2) + IBA (3). Then, these data have been correlated to obtain a set of parameters capable of estimating VLE and VLLE. Preparation and bio-ethanol analysis of sago (M. sago) starch from Papua have been carried out. The preparation of bioethanol was conducted by hydrolysis, fermentation, distillation and purification. The length of fermentation applied is 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 days. Bioethanol then was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Qualitative analyses were boiling point and molecular weight determination. The heterogeneous azeotropic distillation process is widely used to separate nonideal binary mixtures into their constituent pure components. This method uses the addition of a third component, called an entrainer, to cause liquid–liquid phase separation over a broad range of compositions in the ternary phase diagram. Ethanol dehydration was used as a case study and diisopropyl ether and isobutyl alcohol were analyzed as possible entrainers in a heterogeneous azeotropic distillation. This study aims to analyze the ethanol content in fermented palm juice.This research includes the preparation of raw materials, fermentation, distillation and distillation products analyzed by gas chromatography method. Fermentation is carried out for 2, 5, 7 days, the highest level of bioethanol produced is then selected for distillation. Levels the highest fermentation process is on the 5th day with a level of 18%. Got results the final distillation is 117 mL with a level of 94% of the initial volume of 4.2 L fermentation based on measurements using an alcoholmeter while the analysis by gas chromatography yielded 93.9% levels.
