A kétnyelvűség lenyomatai : Célnyelvi interferenciák Terézia Mora Das Ungeheuer című regényében és magyar fordításában

2018

The German writer Terézia Mora (1971) grew up with a double, Hungarian-German linguistic identity. She reflects on her own bilingualism in many ways, also on the micro level of the text. How can this linguistic duality be kept in the Hungarian translation? What translation strategies are to be applied in order to keep the intentional foreignness of the original in the Hungarian target text, if this foreignness is produced by using the very characteristics of the Hungarian language in the German original? This case study focuses on the reflection of bilingualism and the translation problems arising from reflection in literary texts by studying examples taken from the novel Das Ungeheuer by T…

Trīsvalodīga bērna audzināšana vecumā no 0 līdz 3 gadiem: iekļaušana ģimenē un vienvalodīgā sabiedrībā

2018

Kaut arī bilingvālisms tiek studēts jau vairākus gadu desmitus, trilingualitātei joprojām nepieciešama padziļināta izpēte. Lielākā daļa pētījumu, kas veltīti trilinguālismam, ir balstīti bilinvālisma izpētes koncepcijās, taču trilinguālisms ir daudz komplicētāka parādība, tāpēc tam nepieciešama individuāli fokusēta, izvērsta izpēte. Pētot šo fenomenu, autore darba ietvaros centās sniegt ieskatu bērnu audzināšanas praksēs un veiksmīgos valodu apguves nosacījumos. Šī pētījuma galvenais mērķis bija identificēt izplatītākos šķēršļus ar kuriem sastopas daudzvalodīgas ģimenes, kurās lieto trīs valodas, kā arī, balstoties uz reālu pieredzi, noskaidrot, kādus risinājumus iespējams rast problēmsituā…

Lasīšanas Detektīvi Skolēnu Lasītprasmes (Lasītpratības) Pilnveidei Angļu valodas stundās 7.klasē

2020

Primetime learning: collaborative and technology-enhanced studying with genuine teacher presence.

2017

Background Productive learning processes and good learning outcomes can be attained by applying the basic elements of active learning. The basic elements include fostering discussions and disputations, facing alternative conceptions, and focusing on conceptual understanding. However, in the face of poor course retention and high dropout rates, even learning outcomes can become of secondary importance. To address these challenges, we developed a research-based instructional strategy, the primetime learning model. We devised the model by organizing the basic elements of active learning into a theory-based four-step study process. The model is based on collaborative and technology-enhanced lea…

Is it me or the music? : Stress reduction and the role of regulation strategies and music

2019

Music is a common resource for the regulation of emotions, moods, and stress. This study aimed at determining the individual and relative impact on stress reduction of two of the main factors involved in musical affect regulation: regulation strategies and music itself. The current study took place in an experimental setting and followed a factorial within-subjects design. First, the participants ( n = 34) filled in an online survey where they identified their self-perceived “adequate”/“inadequate” music examples for the purpose of reducing stress and self-perceived “adequate”/“inadequate” strategies for the same purpose. In the lab they went through a stress induction procedure and then w…

Does Multi-Component Strategy Training Improve Calculation Fluency Among Poor Performing Elementary School Children?

2018

The aim of the present study was to extend the previous intervention research in math by examining whether elementary school children with poor calculation fluency benefit from strategy training focusing on derived fact strategies and following an integrative framework, i.e., integrating factual, conceptual, and procedural arithmetic knowledge. It was also examined what kind of changes can be found in frequency of using different strategies. A quasi-experimental design was applied, and the study was carried out within the context of the school and its schedules and resources. Twenty schools in Finland volunteered to participate, and 1376 children were screened in for calculation fluency pro…
