Askarrutuksesta osaamiskeskukseksi : sairaalaopetuksen muutoskehityksen tarkastelu kehittävän työntutkimuksen viitekehyksessä

2018

2. Millaisia ovat sairaalaopetuksen tehtävä, toiminta ja käytänteet? 3. Miten työtoimintojen kehittäminen eteni kehittämishankkeiden aikana? ja 4. Millaiset toiminnalliset edellytykset sairaalaopetuksella arvioidaan olevan osaamiskeskuksena toimimiseen? Tutkimukseni metodologia perustui kehittävään työntutkimukseen. Sairaalaopetuksen järjestämisperusteiden kehityshistoriallista ja nykytilanteen analyysia käytettiin sairaalaopetuksen ty…

Implementation of the inclusive CICO Plus intervention for pupils at risk of severe behaviour problems in SWPBS schools

2020

Check in–check out (CICO) is a widely used and studied behavioural intervention. Although CICO is an effective way to support pupils’ behaviour in a school context, not all pupils benefit from basic CICO. A single-case experimental study was designed to evaluate the effects of CICO Plus support (CICO Plus) for participants whose behaviour was determined to be non-responsive to basic CICO. CICO Plus was planned and implemented with four pupils identified by school CICO teams as needing additional behavioural support. Individual CICO Plus support was planned by multiprofessional teams working on each pupil’s case. The CICO Plus support was based on teaching social skills and behaviour at leas…

Die aufschlußfreie Bestimmung von Schwermetallen (Zn, Cd, Pb, Cu) in Getränken (Wein) durch inverse Voltammetrie in einer Durchflußzelle

1987

Digestion-free determination of trace-metals (Zn, Cd, Pb, Cu) in beverages by inverse voltammetry in a flow-through cell equipped with a mercury film-electrode is described. Optimal enrichment potentials are obtained by inspection of the pseudopolarograms of the elements in the original diluted sample solution. After the deposition step in the untreated sample solution stripping is effected in a proper supporting electrolyte after medium exchange. Values obtained by this techniques with various samples compare well with those obtained by usual procedures including wet digestion of the samples.

Extraction of dansylated amino acids using the supported liquid membrane technique

1997

Extraction using the supported liquid membrane (SLM) technique demands conditions where the extracted compounds can be made uncharged allowing them to pass through the membrane. For amino acids, being bifunctional, such conditions can not be obtained directly. One way to overcome this problem is to block one of the functionalities by derivatization, utilising the other group for the transport. The SLM extraction of dansylated amino acids was investigated and optimized. It was possible to obtain high extraction efficiencies (>90%) for most amino acids. For amino acids with polar side chains, such high extraction efficiencies were only obtained at low analyte concentrations ( 10 nmol 1-l). Fo…

Extraction of short peptides using supported liquid membranes

2002

Studies of extraction of short peptides using supported liquid membranes containing Aliquat 336 as a carrier are presented. The extractions are carried out from an aqueous donor phase with pH ≥ 10 to an acceptor phase containing salt. The mass transfer is driven by the gradient of salt concentration between these phases. The extraction efficiency is dependent on the composition of water phases, the type and concentration of counter-ion in the stagnant acceptor phase and the flow rate of the donor phase. Moreover, it is also influenced by the concentration and structure of the examined peptides.

Synthesis of cyanoacetic acid by carbon dioxide and electrogenerated acetonitrile anion in undivided cells equipped with sacrificial anodes

2008

The electrochemical synthesis of cyanoacetic acid was performed by cathodic reduction of tetraalkylammonium salts (R4NX) in acetonitrile in undivided cells equipped with sacrificial anodes with concomitant or subsequent addition of carbon dioxide. These syntheses avoid the use of dangerous reagents, yield cyanoacetic acid in moderate faradic yields and confirm that the cathodic reduction of tetraalkylammonium salts in the presence of acetonitrile leads to the formation of the anion CNCH2-.

Electrochemical technology for the treatment of real washing machine effluent at pre-pilot plant scale by using active and non-active anodes

2018

Abstract Real effluent of washing machine is one of the major sources of microplastics and fabrics in municipal and surface water. The effluents constitute large volume of wastewater with different surfactants since every household and industries nowadays use washing machine rather than traditional hand washing. In this work, a real effluent of washing machine was treated by electrooxidation (EO) in a pre-pilot plant scale electrochemical flow reactor using active (Ti/Pt) or non-active (boron doped diamond (BDD)) anodes and Ti cathode. The effect of anode material (Ti/Pt or BDD) and the applied current density (16.6, 33.3 and 66.6 mA cm−2) on the decay of the organic matter, in terms of che…

Electrochemical synthesis of sulfamides.

2021

Herein we demonstrate the first electrochemical synthesis protocol of symmetrical sulfamides directly from anilines and SO2 mediated by iodide. Sulfamides are an emerging functional group in drug design. Highlights are the direct use of SO2 from a stock solution and no necessity of any supporting electrolyte. Overall, the reaction has been demonstrated for 15 examples with yields up to 93%.

Transport of amino acids through liquid membranes supported on novel poly(vinylidenefluoride) porous flat-sheet matrix

1997

Flat-sheet membranes from poly(vinylidenefluoride) (PVDF) were prepared by the phase inversion process. LiCl was used as a modifying agent. The porosity, maximum pore size and LEPW (liquid entry pressure of water) were determined. Three types of these membranes were tested as a support for n-decanol supported liquid membranes (SLM). Transport of eight amino acids, selected to cover a wide variety of side chains, and of phenylalanine methyl ester through n-decanol SLM were studied. The ability of amino acids to permeates through these membranes depends on the type of flat-sheet PVDF used as a support. An increase in porosity and pore size of the microporous matrix resulted in an increase of …

Metal‐Free Electrochemical Synthesis of Sulfonamides Directly from (Hetero)arenes, SO2, and Amines

2021

Abstract Sulfonamides are among the most important chemical motifs in pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. However, there is no methodology to directly introduce the sulfonamide group to a non‐prefunctionalized aromatic compound. Herein, we present the first dehydrogenative electrochemical sulfonamide synthesis protocol by exploiting the inherent reactivity of (hetero)arenes in a highly convergent reaction with SO2 and amines via amidosulfinate intermediate. The amidosulfinate serves a dual role as reactant and supporting electrolyte. Direct anodic oxidation of the aromatic compound triggers the reaction, followed by nucleophilic attack of the amidosulfinate. Boron‐doped diamond (BDD) electro…
