Sähköinen tunnistautuminen on yksi keskeisistä teemoista verkko-opetuksessa, -opiskelussa ja - arvioinnissa. Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli tutkia opiskeluunsa erityistä tukea tarvitsevien yliopisto-opiskelijoiden käyttökokemuksia kehitteillä olevasta sähköisestä tunnistautumisjärjestelmästä. Erityistä huomiota kehittämistyössä kiinnitettiin tunnistautumisen saavutettavuuteen. Background: The COVID-19 pandemic is a massive health crisis that has exerted enormous physical and psychological pressure. Mental healthcare for healthcare workers (HCWs) should receive serious consideration. This study served to determine the mental-health outcomes of 1,556 HCWs from 45 countries who participated in the COVID-19 IMPACT project, and to examine the predictors of the outcomes during the first pandemic wave. Työssä tutkittiin mittausmenetelmää lämmönjohtavuuden määrittämiseen mata- lissa lämpötiloissa. Mittaukset perustuivat 3ω menetelmään, joka on alunperin ohut- kalvoille kehitetty menetelmä lämmönjohtavuuden mittaukseen. Menetelmässä läm- mitinlangan läpi kulkeva vaihtovirta synnyttää kolminkertaisella taajudella olevan jännitteen, jonka avulla saadaan tietoa kappaleen termisistä ominaisuuksista. Mit- tauksissa kultainen lämmitinlanka höyrystettiin Kapton kalvon päälle ja tämän päälle hyvin ohut alumiinioksidikerros. Thiamine for the treatment of nucleoside analogue-induced severe lactic acidosis

Nucleoside analogue-induced lactic acidosis is an often fatal condition in patients with HIV. There is only one report of successful treatment with riboflavin. We describe a 30-year-old female with AIDS and nucleoside analogue-induced lactic acidosis that exacerbated shortly after introducing total parenteral nutrition and reversed within hours after the addition of thiamine. Successful treatment of nucleoside analogue-induced lactic acidosis with a high dose of thiamine supports the hypothesis that vitamin deficiency is an important cofactor in the development of this rare and unpredictable condition in patients with HIV. We investigated the association of parental physical activity (PA) trajectories with offspring's youth and adult PA. Self-reported PA data were extracted from the Young Finns Study with three follow-ups for parents between 1980 and 1986 and nine follow-ups for their offspring in youth between 1980 and 2011 (aged 9-39 years, n = 2402) and in adulthood in 2018. Corticokinematic coherence (CKC) is the phase coupling between limb kinematics and cortical neurophysiological signals, reflecting cortical processing of proprioceptive afference, and it is reproducible when estimated with magnetoencephalography (MEG). We investigated how work-related biomechanical exposure and job strain in midlife separately and jointly predicted back and degenerative musculoskeletal diseases (MSDs). A total of 6,257 employees participated in the Finnish Longitudinal Study on Aging Municipal Employees (FLAME) in 1981 and were followed up for 28 years. Risk ratios and the relative excessive risk due to interaction and 95% confidence intervals were modeled for separate and joint prediction estimates, respectively. After adjustment for confounders, job strain predicted degenerative MSDs among women after 4 and 11 years of follow-up. After 11 years, both exposures predicted both types of MSDs among men.
