The term “mass casualty” in the forensic field refers to a sudden tragic event involving a large number of people; such an event determines the need to perform a large number of autopsy exams, possibly in a short time. Mass casualties tend to involve emergencies that are unexpected and result in stressful situation when even those with no or scarce interest or experience could be called to play a role. Radiology could be helpful in the task of identifying victims, in cooperation with a multidisciplinary team, usually headed by a forensic specialist.

We consider the probability hierarchy for Popperian FINite learning and study the general properties of this hierarchy. We prove that the probability hierarchy is decidable, i.e. there exists an algorithm that receives p_1 and p_2 and answers whether PFIN-type learning with the probability of success p_1 is equivalent to PFIN-type learning with the probability of success p_2. To prove our result, we analyze the topological structure of the probability hierarchy. We prove that it is well-ordered in descending ordering and order-equivalent to ordinal epsilon_0. Improving the likelihood of SME survival during financial and economic crises: The importance of TMTs and family ownership for ambidexterity

In the context of an economic and financial crisis characterized by scarce munificence and high uncertainty, we examine the role of organizational ambidexterity in SMEs survival, and the TMT and ownership characteristics that influence ambidexterity. Our analysis of Spanish manufacturing SMEs in the context of an international economic crisis suggests that: (1) firm survival is associated with ambidexterity; (2) diversity in TMT tenure improves firm ambidexterity and (3) a negative effect exists between family ownership and ambidexterity, but (4) a positive effect exists between family ownership and survival.This study contributes to our understanding of the antecedents of SME ambidexterity…

The aim of the study reported here was to develop psychotherapeutic in-patient treatment for acute schizophrenia, following the principles of a need-adapted approach. To improve the integration of experiences which hospital staff have with acutely psychotic patients and their families, systematic supervision sessions were organised. In these sessions, it was possible to achieve shared psychological images through which the whole staff could integrate patients' behaviour and symptoms, both symbolic and non-symbolic. The problem of balancing coherence and flexibility in collaborative information system design is approached here with two pairs of concepts. Boundary objects can support communication for perspective taking between communities of practice. Conscripting devices can support communication for perspective making within a community of practice. One option to produce more ethene and propene can be to crack naphtha type fractions in dedicated smaller FCC units. We present here the results obtained for high temperature steam catalytic cracking (SCC) of a representative naphtha product (n-heptane) with ZSM-5. It has been found that under those conditions the presence of steam produces an irreversible dealumination of the zeolite as well as a reversible deactivation due to the interaction of water with active sites with a negative effect on protolytic cracking. A kinetic decay model that takes into account the two phenomena has been developed. The apparent activation energy is lower in the presence of steam. It appears that whilst the …
