Génétique des textes et système chaotique
2016
Textual genetics and chaotic system Although we share Louis Hay's idea that it is impossible to homologate and systematize the operations which can be observed in manuscripts, it is however possible to interpret whatever creation process in terms of the passage from entropy to order. The possibility of an analogy between text and chaotic system had been advanced by Noëlle Batt according to whom each work actually satisfies the principles of the chaotic system. It is starting from such principles that we will try to show the analogy between chaotic system and textual genetics: 1. The fact that we are dealing with an evolving system (with variables and permanent features) endowed with a tempo…
Interaction and use of technologies in teaching and learning processes
2020

Representations of war in francophone literary space : the cas of the Horn of Africa
2017
The war is an experience that, by its commotion, condemned to unspeakable. It forces writers to define the relationship they have with the language they practices when it does not metamorphose themselves. It is this sense that need dealing with the range of transgressions at work in the war story which, through formal and language disorders distortions that contribute to its development, inaugurates writing that escapes definitions categorizations. Instead of reporting on the disaster, the literary imagination is in an external object, searching the paradoxical experience aestheticisation a priori ineffable a way around the impotence of language to express the inexpressible. Nevertheless, h…
2016
Media diversification and information superhighways that have become faster and faster have boosted the circulation of economic terms in the popular press, along with the interaction between editorial contents targeted at the general population, which are similar in nature. This twin phenomenon of circulation and interaction was highlighted in a contrastive study of the way the German and the French press managed the euro crisis between 2011 and 2013: articles devoted to the debt of countries that are going through hard economic times require expert knowledge, but also resort to popularization strategies that show multi-level interdiscursivity.
Analytical reading and Resistance poetry : Study of educational analysis techniques of literary texts in Year 10
2015
After underlining the complex evolution of teaching literature at Secondary school level, and the current difficulties faced when teaching the official syllabus, particularily as far as analytical reading is concerned, this study reveals the educational benefits of teaching Resistance poetry. An experiment carried out with Year 10 pupils, and the analysis of their reader's texts enables us to assess the educational importance of the study of Resistance poetry. Indeed, the characteristic indetermination zones create a motivational dynamic and stimulate interpretational efforts amongst the pupils. The prolific constraints of this type of text encourage a « dialectic » and plural literary read…
L’épistémologie de Jean Bollack ou Bollack contre Bollack
2015
International audience; Jean Bollack’s philologische Wissenschaft aims to reach the “good lesson” of a text and to get the “original intent” of its author, in the true sense of these expressions. It is based on three main elements: the identification of biases that would lead to an incorrect interpretation; the syntactic analysis of the text and the discussion of the points of view of other scholars (i.e. a dialectical criticism). Bollack – despite his accuracy – does not question his own assumptions: 1) that the sense of a text is in the manuscripts we possess (or – in any case – it is recoverable through them); 2) the idea that the great texts are more insightful than others; and 3) the n…
