Financial crises are not unique to current financial systems. Are crises alike? Have they become more frequent, longer lasting and more severe since the 20th century? What does history tell us? The objective of this paper is to study the financial crises that have occurred in Spain over the last 150 years. We consider different types of crises (banking, currency and stock market crises), together with all their possible combinations, estimate their frequency by period and measure their length and depth. El arrendamiento de los impuestos indirectos desempeñó un papel clave en ese sistema, mediante un procedimiento de subasta pública. Durante la primera mitad del siglo XV, se confirmaron dos procesos relacionados: la monopolización de los arrendamientos por parte de una élite financiera, que a la vez retenía los cargos contables municipales; y la tendencia a la baja de los precios de los arrendamientos, en detrimento del sistema económico municipal. The present PhD aims at understanding how Visual Impaired (VI) children process the tactile pictures that illustrate the tactile books specially designed for them. Our work is organized around two main axes of analysis. The first axis concentrates on the child who explores the tactile images, while the second axis focuses on the impact that the properties of these images can have on children’s haptic processing. Then, the experts should estimate the extent of the above-mentioned sources of uncertainty for improving the reliability and the representativeness of the obtained eco-profiles. Estudiamos seis enterramientos de inhumación, hallados en el transcurso de la campaña de investigación arqueológica 2007-2008, realizada en la villa rustica romana de Catarroja, Valencia. Cronológicamente han de situarse en época bajoimperial tardía, aunque, por lo menos uno, más temprano, no es contemporáneo de los restantes. Halogen (Cl, F) release during explosive, effusive, and intrusive phases of the 2011 rhyolitic eruption at Cordón Caulle volcano (Chile)

We investigate sulphur, chlorine and fluorine release during explosive, effusive and intrusive phases of the 2011 Cordon Caulle eruption, with a focus on halogen devolatilization. Petrological analysis shows halogen release to have been promoted by isobaric crystallization in slowly-cooled magma that was emplaced in a lava flow and sub-vent intrusion. Fluorine in particular mobilized only after extensive groundmass crystallization and incipient devitrification. By 2017, the gas emitted from vent-proximal fumaroles had hydrothermal compositions, with HCl/HF ratios decreasing with decreasing temperature.
