Szkolnictwo zawodowe znajduje się obecnie na początku zmian, które rozpoczęły się od aktualizacji klasyfikacji zawodów oraz wprowadzenia szkół branżowych. W niniejszym artykule podjęto próbę subiektywnej oceny propozycji wprowadzanych rozwiązań dotyczących podniesienia efektywności kształcenia zawodowego i zwiększenia jego prestiżu w społeczeństwie na tle oczekiwań rynku pracy.
Realizacja projektów edukacyjnych sposobem na zwiększenie szans uczniów szkół zawodowych na rynku pracy

W artykule przedstawiona została realizacja projektu edukacyjnego pt.: Opolskie szkolnictwo zawodowe bliżej rynku pracy”, który integruje szkoły zawodowe z terenu województwa opolskiego z lokalnymi przedsiębiorcami. Realizacja tego przedsięwzięcia jest odpowiedzią na potrzeby samych przedsiębiorców, którzy zgłaszali problemy w pozyskiwaniu odpowiednio wykwalifikowanej kadry. Projekt przybliża również istniejący rynek pracy młodym ludziom, którzy w najbliższej przyszłości staną się jego aktywnymi uczestnikami. Przedstawiono również wyniki badań, jakimi objęci zostali uczestnicy projektu, uwzględniające ich opinię na temat celowości, efektywności i przydatności podejmowanych działań

Linguistic, sociolinguistic, and pragmatic competence as criteria in assessing vocational language skills: the case of Finland

The content of the assessment criteria used in assessing vocationally oriented language competence in the Finnish Competency-Based Qualifications was examined. The data consisted of the National Core Curricula, eight education providers’ assessment criteria used in rating performances in the Qualification of Business and Administration, and thematic interviews conducted with 12 language teachers and four workplace experts. The data were analysed qualitatively. The Reform of Vocational Education and Training in Finland: Insights from Twitter

This paper aims to analyse and describe relationships and communication in Twitter in relation to vocational education and training reform in Finland. Data were collected during the early implementation phase of the reform from January 2018 to early June 2018. The data included 2400 tweets containing the hashtag #amisreformi (VET reform). Social network analysis was utilised to study the network and communities. The main themes of the tweets were analysed using thematic analysis, and automated sentiment analysis was used to examine the tones of the tweets and public opinion. More educated, more mobile? Evidence from post-secondary education reform. Spatial Economic Analysis. This paper examines the causal impact of the level of education on within-country migration. To account for biases resulting from selection into post-secondary education, it uses a large-scale reform within the higher education system that gradually transformed former vocational colleges into polytechnics in Finland in the 1990s. This empirical study is part of research into teachers’ conceptions of teaching but in a new context and with a new audience. It is based on a qualitative survey conducted by semi-directive interviews with 17 lecturers (in the job for three years at most and across a range of subject areas) about the notions of ‘good’ and ‘poor’ lessons. This study explores the extent to which the issue of special educational and training needs for persons with disabilities is addressed in the education and training policy of Ethiopia, with a specific focus on technical and vocational education and training (TVET).
