Phytochemical analysis of two Weigela florida cultivars, “Pink Poppet” and “Jean’s Gold”

Abstract Nine different oleanane-type glycosides were extracted and isolated by various chromatographic methods from two Weigela florida cultivars, “Pink Poppet” and “Jean’s Gold”. A Promising Family of Fluorescent Water-Soluble aza-BODIPY Dyes for in Vivo Molecular Imaging.

A new family of water-soluble and bioconjugatable aza-BODIPY fluorophores was designed and synthesized using a boron- functionalization strategy. These dissymmetric bis-ammonium aza-BODIPY dyes present optimal properties for a fluorescent probe; i.e., they are highly water-soluble, very stable in physiological medium; they do not aggregate in PBS, possess high quantum yield; and finally, they can be easily bioconjugated to antibodies. Preliminary in vitro and in vivo studies were performed for one of these fluorophores to image PD-L1 (Programmed Death-Ligand 1), highlighting the high potential of these new probes for future in vivo optical imaging studies.

Multi-modal image fusion for small animal studies in in-line PET /3T MRI

Functionalization of theranostic AGuIX® nanoparticles for PET/MRI/optical imaging

Inter/intramolecular Cherenkov radiation energy transfer (CRET) from a fluorophore with a built-in radionuclide.

The Cherenkov radiation (CR) from [(18)F]-FDG, [(177)Lu]-LuCl3 and [(90)Y]-YCl3 was detected and CR energy transfer (CRET) to several fluorophores was examined. Subsequent fluorescence emission was found to be a function of the position of absorption bands with respect to the CR peak, energy of emitted particles, radionuclide/fluorophore loading, and fluorophore brightness. A variant of the best fluorophore with a built-in radionuclide was synthesized to achieve inter- and intra-molecular CRET.
