What distinguishes the biblical books of Sacred Scripture from other compositions and works of literature is undoubtedly its supernatural character described in theology as inspiration. Still, the reflction of numerous centuries, beginning from the Church Fathers, has been necessary to formulate this specifi quantity of the biblical text as well as explain and classify it into proper categories corresponding with the contents of Sacred Scripture. A unique and unrepeatable role in this process was played by Origen, a priest and exegete of the turn of 2nd and 3 rd centuries, who among through his works paved the way for theology in reading Sacred Scripture as the genuine Word of God, respected its word sense, and at the same time emphasised the exceptional allegoric and typological value of reading the biblical texts in order to discover the salutary message they include.
