Overlapping aspects between work addiction and work engagement make difficult distinguish the pathological forms of heavy work investment. In this study the authors adopted a post-positivist research design philosophy to explore the likelihood that Americans would support extreme self-defense policies like torture, reducing human rights or banning Muslims to fight against global terrorism, especially after 9/11 and in light of the Trump conservative government. In the paper are listed the main types of architectures of systems for business process management. Thus, we can identify several categories of such architectures, namely architectures of workflow management systems, flexible workflow management architectures, service-oriented architecture, advanced service composition, and data-driven approaches. As such, there are two of the five categories, namely architectures of workflow management systems and architectures of flexible workflow management systems, and a methodology is proposed for developing solutions for business process management.
Anomalous Hall Effect

The anomalous Hall effect (AHE) is one of the most fundamental, practically important and for a long time most enigmatic phenomena exhibited by magnetic materials. Here, we briefly outline the relation of the anomalous Hall effect to the geometric properties of the electronic states as given by the Berry phase. The Berry phase origins of the AHE lead to its topological manifestations in insulators, which we review in detail based on key examples. In addition to the intrinsic AHE and its anisotropy in solids, we draw a deep correlation of this effect with orbital magnetism and magnetoelectric response, and discuss its emergence in non-collinear magnets.

Recent functional studies suggest that noise sensitivity, a trait describing attitudes towards noise and predicting noise annoyance, is associated with altered processing in the central auditory system. In the present work, we examined whether noise sensitivity could be related to the structural anatomy of auditory and limbic brain areas. Anatomical MR brain images of 80 subjects were parcellated with FreeSurfer to measure grey matter volume, cortical thickness, cortical area and folding index of anatomical structures in the temporal lobe and insular cortex. We investigate the Markovian and non-Markovian dynamics of Gaussian quantum channels, exploiting a recently introduced necessary and sufficient criterion and the ensuing measure of non-Markovianity based on the violation of the divisibility property of the dynamical map. We compare the paradigmatic instances of Quantum Brownian motion (QBM) and Pure Damping (PD) channels, and for the former we find that the exact dynamical evolution is always non-Markovian in the finite-time as well as in the asymptotic regimes, for any nonvanishing value of the non-Markovianity parameter.
