Parasitismo Intestinal en Población Infantil de las Regiones Atlánticas de Nicaragua

La presente Tesis Doctoral tiene como objetivo establecer el espectro parasitario intestinal de la costa Atlántica de Nicaragua, concretamente de la Región Autónoma del Atlántico Norte (RAAN) y la Región Autónoma del Atlántico Sur (RAAS). Para ello, se ha estudiado un total de 1878 escolares (1009 niñas y 869 niños), con edades comprendidas entre <1 y 14 años de edad. Se ha detectado un espectro parasitario total de al menos 18 especies parásitas (10 protozoos y 8 helmintos), con una prevalencia de parasitación total de 93.7%, observándose mayor prevalencia de protozoos que de helmintos (85.3% vs 61%). Per a realitzar-lo, hem triat una mostra de cinc universitats públiques de tot l’àmbit lingüístic per conèixer el nombre d’estudiants i les sortides professionals del grau de Filologia Catalana. The paper quantifies the direct and indirect impacts of the creative industry, concluding that they not only have a direct impact on the employment and the production, but also contributes to the technological progress and long-term development of the European Union. Most of this contribution is due to the creative service industries, whereas the direct contribution of the creative manufacturing industries is smaller.
Influence of morphology in the magnetic properties of layered double hydroxides

We report the controlled synthesis of magnetic CoAl and NiFe layered double hydroxides (LDHs) endowed with well-defined morphology (hexagonal and flower-like shapes) by means of modified homogeneous precipitation. These layered magnets display high crystallinity and micrometric size, thus offering a perfect scenario for the elucidation of the role exerted by distortion of the layers in their magnetic behaviour. Measuring the Relative Reactivity of the Carbon-Hydrogen Bonds of Alkanes as Nucleophiles

We report quantitative measurements of the relative reactivities of a series of C-H bonds of gaseous or liquid CnH2n+2 alkanes (n = 1-8, 29 different C-H bonds) towards insitu generated electrophiles (copper, silver, and rhodium carbenes), with methane as the reference. This strategy surpasses the drawback of previous model reactions of alkanes with strong electrophiles suffering from C-C cleavage processes, which precluded direct comparison of the relative reactivities of alkane C-H bonds.

In this work, we aimed to evaluate the serial changes of functional class and surrogates of fluid overload (weight and antigen carbohydrate 125) after addition of oral acetazolamide in patients with refractory CHF. The specimens are complete enough to remove any doubt about which Order (Artiodactyla) and Superfamily (Suoidea) they belong to. Although pesticides are a major selective force in driving the evolution of insect pests, the evolutionary processes that give rise to insecticide resistance remain poorly understood. Insecticide resistance has been widely observed to increase with frequent and intense insecticide exposure, but can be lost following the relaxation of insecticide use. International audience; We report on a laser based $^{199}$Hg co-magnetometer deployed in an experiment searching for a permanent electric dipole moment of the neutron. We demonstrate a more than five times increased signal to-noise-ratio in a direct comparison measurement with its $^{204}$Hg discharge bulb-based predecessor. An improved data model for the extraction of important system parameters such as the degrees of absorption and polarization is derived. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the previously unexplored theoretical relationship between technology enabled information services (TEIS) and the value created by the use of such services. This paper presents a mixed virtual and multi-sited ethnography to provide a thick description of Chinese backpackers (CBs) use of TEIS. Participant observations and interviews of CBs in three different journeys within Europe were undertaken. Diagnozowanie i wspieranie rozwoju dziecka z zakłóceniami lateralizacji, na etapie edukacji przedszkolnej

Okres przedszkolny jest najlepszym i najbardziej efektywnym czasem do korygowania i usprawniania rozwoju lateralizacji u dzieci. Na nauczycielach przedszkola spoczywa obowiązek podjęcia działań diagnostycznych i pomocowych wobec dzieci z nietypowym lub zakłóconym modelem lateralizacji. Wyniki przeprowadzonych badań ukazały, że nauczycielki przedszkola posiadają pewną wiedzę na temat lateralizacji, choć w sposób wyraźny zaznaczają się w niej braki, co potwierdziła analiza poszczególnych kwestii badawczych. Popularyzowanie tematu lateralizacji wydaje się więc ciągle uzasadnione.

Izstrādātajā kvalifikācijas darbā par tēmu “Ikonoklasms un tā piemēri 20. un 21. gadsimtā” tiek apskatīti ikonoklasma veidi, par piemēru izmantojot dažus no 20. un 21. gadsimta precedentiem, kad kultūras mantojums ir materiālā veidā cietis konfliktu situācijās vai tā nozīme, vide un apstākļi ir tikuši mainīti. Darbā ir iekļautas ziņas par koncepta “ikonoklasms” rašanos Bizantijas impērijas laikā 8. un 9. gadsimtā, teoloģiskie pamatojumi ikonoklasmam un kā termins ir ticis pielāgots mākslas un sociālo zinātņu pētniecībā.
