With the so-called “affective turn” in the humanities and social sciences, affect has become a popular theoretical frame in the research of human practice and sociality. The notion of affect places feelings, emotions, embodied experiences, and the feel of things at the front and center of academic interest. Researchers differ in their definitions of affect – some see affect as a potential to affect and an openness to being affected, while others approach it as an intensity, a sensation, or a bodily process. The paper takes into consideration the relationship between philosophical anthropology and phenomenology from the point of view provided by Eugen Fink’s philosophical path. Starting with phenomenological researches into the structure of constitution and reduction, after the Second World War Fink puts forth an anthropological theory based on the notion of play. This paper identifies the self-reflective and practical structure of Selbstbesinnung as a constant element of Fink’s analysis of the phenomenological method, of consciousness, and of the anthropological dimension of play, thus suggesting a profound continuity in his philosophical thought.

In organic farming, the adoption of the conventional tillage (CT) technique is considered by many farmers to be necessary to control weeds. Such tillage system, in fact, permits to bury weed seeds deep in the soil by means of soil inversion with moldboard plowing and to eliminate the weed plants that gradually emerge by means of the secondary tillage operations. Per questo motivo ricercatori, progettisti e tecnici, hanno posto una crescente attenzione sull’utilizzo di sistemi di controllo automatici per l’illuminazione. Questa tipologia di sistemi gioca, infatti, un ruolo chiave nel raggiungimento di significativi riduzioni dei consumi elettrici e dei benefici legati all’utilizzo della luce naturale (ad esempio il comfort visivo degli occupanti, il benessere e la produttività). Este artículo es el resultado de un estudio sobre el grupo de marinos de la Armada de la II República que, tras marchar al exilio en 1939, reemigraron a México. El exilio a México es una emigración tradicionalmente vinculada a personalidades intelectuales. Sin embargo, la mayoría fueron exiliados de a pie y constituye un colectivo poco conocido. Los marinos de la Armada se enmarcan en este grupo y su estudio puede contribuir a una aproximación a esta parte casi olvidada del exilio republicano a México.
