To study lactic acid bacteria (LAB) biodiversity and to evaluate their potential for use in dairy applications, eight raw cows' milk batches were sampled from five dairy factories located in different areas of the Trentino region during winter and summer milkings. A total of 370 (Gram-positive and catalase-negative) isolates were first molecularly analysed by means of randomly amplified polymorphic DNA-polymerase chain reaction (RAPD-PCR). After strain differentiation (124 profiles), LAB were genetically identified at species level. The most frequently isolated LAB were lactococci, enterococci and streptococci. The use of battery tools is very common in many fields of work. In fact, the electric engine and batteries have several advantages over traditional endothermic engines, including low emissions, in terms of pollutants, vibration and noise. Oligophenyls with Multiple Disulfide Bridges as Higher Homologues of Dibenzo[c,e][1,2]dithiin: Synthesis and Application in Lithium-Ion Batteries.

Abstract Higher homologues of dibenzo[c,e][1,2]dithiin were synthesized from oligophenyls bearing multiple methylthio groups. Single‐crystal X‐ray analyses revealed their nonplanar structures and helical enantiomers of higher meta‐congener 6. Such dibenzo[1,2]dithiin homologues are demonstrated to be applicable to lithium‐ion batteries as cathode, displaying a high capacity of 118 mAh g−1 at a current density of 50 mA g−1.
