‘Philonikia’ e ‘timoria’ nel ‘logos’ di Ermocrate a Gela e nell’‘Olimpico’ di Lisia

The aim of the paper is to underline that some themes are both in the logos of Hermocrates of Syracuse in Gela and in the Olimpic Oration of Lysias. Purposely, two of these are the theme of philonikia , which Thucydides defined «insane», and the theme of timoria , when the revenge is legitimate and advantageous at same time. The use of such slogans by the Attic orator (even if his father was from Syracuse), testifies the desire to evoke the feeling pansikeliote awaked during the Peace of Gela, in order to spread these themes and values in Mainland Greece too.

Los poemas bizantinos titulados Συναξάριον τοῦ τιμημένου γαδάρου y Γαδάρου, λύκου κι ἀλουποὺς διήγησις ὡραία ofrecen un ejemplo significativo y claro de la interacción entre dos variedades lingüísticas opuestas: de un lado, el griego literario empleado para la composición poética; de otro, el griego popular que iba poco a poco ganando terreno con vistas a reemplazar a la lengua antigua.

El arco de Filoctetes, como objeto simbólico importante y sagrado de la tragedia homónima de Sófocles, ha sido estudiado en numerosas ocasiones. A pesar de ello, su importancia como arma sagrada merece una revisión que atienda a los contextos religioso y épico de los que bebió Sófocles. Según la teoría tradicional, esta sacralidad deriva de la proveniencia divina del arco, que procede de Heracles. Con todo, en algunos pasajes podría explicarse mejor por la importancia que, en determinados contextos religiosos, adquirían ciertos objetos venerables que eran considerados también sagrados.

Este libro contiene trabajos seleccionados por sus relevantes aportes entre los presentados como resultado del Proyecto de Investigación “La Deixis Social como elemento básico de la Performance en la Literatura Griega Clásica (narrativa homérica, tragedia esquilea y tragedia sofoclea)”, dirigido por la Dra. Graciela Zecchin de Fasano y co-dirigido por la Dra. Luz Pepe de Suárez (desarrollado entre 2006-2009). Las investigadoras lograron plasmar en sus trabajos la feliz confluencia de la filología clásica con los aportes actualizados de la lingüística y –lo que es relevante por tratarse de textos literarios- con los estudios de poética.

El objetivo de este estudio es el de elaborar una propuesta didáctica que maximice el tiempo y los recursos destinados a la enseñanza del inglés durante los tres ciclos que, en España, recibe la educación primaria, con alumnos con edades comprendidas entre los 6 y los 12 años. The aim of the article is to describe a new study programme at the University of Opole, Czech language in the public services sector. Necessity to create non-philological programme is explained, as there are huge changes on the labour market and different expectations of future employers. Changes in the programme were enforced also by a new generation, so called Generation Z that has new characteristics. That lead the teachers to change their previous identities and habits.

This paper aims at sharing the experience we had in the design and implementation of a short pilot course of Italian in Second Life® (SL). The paper will provide a description of the course mentioning preliminary findings, discussed in relation to the theories adopted by the two researchers. Este trabalho examina os dispositivos linguísticos por meio dos quais Ésquilo conseguiu apresentar as personagens femininas da Oresteia. A análise é feita após um levantamento das seções recitativas de três tragédias; características fonéticas, morfológicas e sintáticas foram estudadas e comparadas com a linguagem dos personagens masculinos. Os resultados desta pesquisa se ajustam a outras tentativas precedentes de mostrar como a sociolinguística pode explicar o retrato formal dos personagens trágicos e cômicos.
