Im Beitrag wird Gérard Granels "introduction“ zu seiner "traduction" von Heideggers "Was heißt Denken?" vorgestellt, die Ende der Fünfzigerjahre in Zusammenarbeit mit dem deutschen Aloys Becker entstand und 1959 erstmalig bei den Presses Universitaires de France erschien. Dieser sprachlich und gedanklich bemerkenswert dichte Übersetzungskommentar Granels ist im Hinblick auf die Frage nach dem Verhältnis von Theorie und Praxis des Übersetzens, die als Frage nach der Möglichkeit einer Überwindung gestellt wird, umso aufschlussreicher, als bereits die heideggersche Vorlage wesentlich um den Zusammenhang von Denken und Übersetzen, Sprachmaterialität und Sinnschöpfung kreist.

The use of natural fibres in cement composites is an expanding research field as their use can improve the mechanical and thermal behavior of cement mortars and reduce their carbon footprint. In this paper two different wild grasses, i.e. Pennisetum Setaceum, also known as crimson fountaingrass, and Ampelodesmos Mauritanicus, also called diss, are used as source of natural fibres for cement mortars. Mechanical behavior of carbon/flax hybrid composites for structural applications

In this work, the influence of an unidirectional carbon fabric layer on the mechanical performances of bidirectional flax fabric/epoxy composites used for structural applications was studied. Two different bidirectional flax fabrics were used to produce flax fabric reinforced plastic (FFRP) laminates by a vacuum bagging process: one is normally used to make curtains; the other, heavier and more expensive than the previous one, is usually used as reinforcement in composite structures. Mechanical Characterization of Polymers on a Nanometer Scale through Nanoindentation. A Study on Pile-up and Viscoelasticity

The analysis of nanoindentation force curves collected on polymers through the common Oliver and Pharr procedure does not lead to a correct evaluation of Young’s modulus. In particular, the estimated elastic modulus is several times larger than the correct one, thus compromising the possibility of a nanomechanical characterization of polymers. Pile-up or viscoelasticity is usually blamed for this failure, and a deep analysis of their influences is attempted in this work. Piling-up can be minimized by indenting on a true nanometer scale, i.e., at penetration depth smaller than 200 nm.
