The article is an attempt to solve the enigma on the potential advantages of the Polish language that comes from the line to the person who will read from Zwierzyniec Mikołaj Rej. The author reviews the most famous and popular meanings of the symbols geese from antiquity to the Renaissance times. Indicated is a long road traveled by this positively associated theme until symbol geese has become synonymous mindless chatter. The opposite of the “idle talk” is the work of Miko³aj Rej, who was the father of Polish literature, hoisted our national culture to new heights.

Mobile Banking Services Continuous Usage -- Case Study of Finland

Finland is at the forefront of using new information systems, such as mobile banking (m-banking). The present study develops and tests a model of continuous usage intentions toward m-banking services for a sample of 273 Finnish m-banking users. Results confirm the hypothesized direct relationships between self-congruence and perceived value, perceived risk and perceived value, perceived value and continuous usage, and continuous usage and word of mouth. The frequency of usage of m-banking services and experience moderate the relationship between perceived value and continuous usage. Potku – New analysis software for heavy ion elastic recoil detection analysis

Time-of-flight elastic recoil detection (ToF-ERD) analysis software has been developed. The software combines a Python-language graphical front-end with a C code computing back-end in a user-friendly way. The software uses a list of coincident time-of- flight–energy (ToF–E) events as an input. The ToF calibration can be determined with a simple graphical procedure. The graphical interface allows the user to select different elements and isotopes from a ToF–E histogram and to convert the selections to individual elemental energy and depth profiles. A Stochastic Algorithm Based on Fast Marching for Automatic Capacitance Extraction in Non-Manhattan Geometries

Our algorithm is stochastic in nature and as such fully parallelizable. It is intended to extract capacitance entries directly from a pixelized representation of the integrated circuit (IC), which can be produced from a scanning electron microscopy image. This study conceptualizes the notion of value co-destruction by reviewing and synthesizing the scattered and scarce value co-destruction literature in interdisciplinary fields. Building on our synthesis, we outline a conceptual framework for the value co-destruction process consisting of three interrelated categories of key concepts.
