(Abridged): We study the collision of magnetized irregularities (shells) in relativistic outflows in order to explain the origin of the generic phenomenology observed in the non-thermal emission of both blazars and gamma-ray bursts. We focus on the influence of the magnetic field on the collision dynamics, and we further investigate how the properties of the observed radiation depend on the strength of the initial magnetic field and on the initial internal energy density of the flow. Tumor invasion in vivo was studied by light and electron microscopy as well as by immunofluorescence microscopy. Special regard was paid to the grade of tumor differentiation. Dimethylhydrazine-induced murine colonic carcinomas comprising a differentiated and an undifferentiated tumor type with low and high invasiveness respectively, were used. Isolated rat liver parenchymal cells (PC) were co-cultured with a non-parenchymal rat liver epithelial cell line (NEC) or with an oval cell line. The homotypical gap junctional intercellular communication (GJIC) between the liver PC was measured after microinjection of Lucifer Yellow by dye transfer.
