Pēdējo gadu laikā notikusī straujā dziļās mašīnmācīšanās attīstība ir ļāvusi attīstīties arī mašīntulkošanas nozarei. Lai palīdzētu uzņēmējiem apgūt starptautiskos tirgus un ļautu datortehnikas lietotājiem izmantot tehnoloģijas dzimtajā valodā, ir svarīgi attīstīt latviešu valodas mašīntulkošanas tehnoloģijas. Šajā darbā aprakstīti neirontulkošanas darbības principi un latviešu valodas morfoloģiskās īpatnības. Identificētas metodes, kas pašlaik sniedz labākos rezultātus latviešu valodas tulkošanā. Rescuing CFTR Protein Function: 1,3,4-oxadiazoles versus 1,2,4-oxadiazoles as readthrough inducing drugs
In Cystic fibrosis (CF) disease nonsense mutations in the CFTR gene cause the absence of the CFTR protein expression and a more severe form of the disease. About 10% of patient affected by CF show a nonsense mutation. A potential treatment of this alteration is to promote translational readthrough of premature termination codons (PTCs) by translational readthrough inducing drugs such as Ataluren (1). We reported a rationale for Ataluren promoted readthrough of PTCs by computational approach and GFP-reporter cell-based assay (2) and the observed enhancement of readthrough activity by some Ataluren derivatives (3, 4). Profesionāliem tulkiem ir liela prasība pēc automatizētās tulkošana, bet, diemžēl, mašīntulkošanas sistēmas daudzu ierobežojumu dēļ nevar ražot tekstu, kas būtu līdzīgi cilvēka tulkojumam. Tomēr, pirmsrēdiģēšanu un pēcrēdiģēšanu izmantošana mašīntulkošanā var paaugstināt mašīntulkojamību. Tādējādi, pētījuma mērķis ir izanalizēt pirmsrēdiģēšanu un pēcrēdiģēšanu izmantošanu angļu juridisko tekstu automatizēto tulkošanu krievu valodā. Kritiskā diskursa analīze bija izmantota kā empirīskā pētījuma metode. Pēdējā desmitgadē mašīntulkošana ir ievērojami attīstījusies un tiek plaši izmantota tulkošanas nozarē, lai izpildītu pieaugošo pieprasījumu pēc ātrākiem tulkojumiem un samazinātu izmaksas. Lai maksimāli palielinātu mašīntulkošanas efektivitāti un iegūtu augstas kvalitātes tulkojumu, mašīntulkošanas darbplūsmā parasti tiek iekļauti divi papildus procesi: rediģēšana pirms un pēc mašīntulkošanas. Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt gan latviešu, gan angļu ziņu diskursu, kā arī salīdzināt divu mašīntulkošanas rīku – Google Translate un Tilde Translator – efektivitāti, tulkojot ziņu rakstus no angļu valodas latviešu valodā.
