Fairness behavior in an economic crisis environment: a Romanian experimental perspective

Abstract In the context of the current prolonged economic crisis, we were wondering if the typical behaviour of Romanians in terms of their ‘fairness’ has suffered any modification. This study is trying to identify the effect of psychological pressure created by the economic crisis on fairness using the Ultimatum Game. We aim to look at the question if this hypothetical phenomenon applies mostly to people who use economic information in their day-to-day life (e.g., economic science students) or if it also affects different populations (e.g., psychology students). Another aim is to understand if any difference is influenced mainly by vocational personalities as Holland hs described.

The seven articles in this special issue represent a wide range of international comparative and review studies by international research teams from China, Germany, India, Russia, Switzerland and Mexico. This has led to a growing interest in research-based knowledge. Whereas cross-sectional research has shown that transformational leadership, task interdependence, and self-efficacy are positively related to teachers’ engagement in reflective learning activities, the causal direction of these relations needs further inquiry. At the same time, individual teacher learning might play a mutual role in strengthening school-level capacity for sustained improvement. Background and aim: In Norway, a large part of the population is dependent on disability benefits. The main reasons for this are related to long-term musculoskeletal pain and psychological complaints. Prevocational rehabilitation, aimed at increasing participation in working life, targets people in need of a sheltered vocational environment.
