Hyväksymis- ja omistautumisterapiaa on käytetty laajasti erilaisten psyykkisten ongelmien hoidossa, niin aikuisilla kuin lapsilla. Viimeaikaisista tutkimuksista HOT:n periaatteiden soveltamisesta nukkumisongelmien ja unettomuuden hoitoon on saatu lupaavia tuloksia. Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää ryhmämuotoisen Hyväksymis- ja omistautumisterapian vaikutuksia unettomuuden hoidossa. Tutkimukseen osallistuneista 32 henkilöä kuului koeryhmään ja 33 tutkittavaa kontrolliryhmään. Hoito suoritettiin ryhmämuotoisena terapiana, joka sisälsi yhteensä kuusi kertaa, joista ensimmäinen tehtiin yksilöllisellä puhelinhaastattelulla. The article introduces four case studies from Wales, France and Finland and explores the situated, intergenerational and dynamic nature of collective participation in child welfare settings. Collective participation is conceived of as a process of engagement in which children and young people have some influence over the initiation or direction of a project; and as seeking a product, or outcome. The purpose of this paper is to examine the relationship between happiness at work and cross-selling performance in the banking sector. In addition, the mediating effect of service-skill use is analyzed in the relationship between happiness at work and performance. Confirmatory factor analysis is used by means of structural equation models to assess the relationship between happiness at work, service-skill use, and cross-selling performance. A sample of 492 financial service employees is examined. Results reveal that happiness at work positively and directly affects cross-selling performance. Early sudden gains in an acceptance and values-based intervention: Effects on treatment outcome for depression and psychological flexibility

Abstract Objective The aim of this study was to explore early temporal patterns of change in a treatment delivered by novice therapists. We examined if early sudden gains (ESGs) in a six-session acceptance and values-based intervention would produce superior treatment outcomes when compared to slower improvements. Method The temporal patterns of change of 56 clients diagnosed with depression were analyzed. ESGs were defined as reaching the status of recovered or improved in the Reliable Change Index (RCI) (Jacobson & Truax (1991)) classification after two sessions.
