Integrability and Non Integrability of Some n Body Problems

International audience; We prove the non integrability of the colinear 3 and 4 body problem, for any positive masses. To deal with resistant cases, we present strong integrability criterions for 3 dimensional homogeneous potentials of degree −1, and prove that such cases cannot appear in the 4 body problem. Following the same strategy, we present a simple proof of non integrability for the planar n body problem. Eventually, we present some integrable cases of the n body problem restricted to some invariant vector spaces.
Artificial Potential Field Simulation Framework for Semi-Autonomous Car Conception

International audience; Artificial potential field is investigated to provide a high level of synergy between driver and semi-autonomous vehicle. This article presents a framework developed to test the performances of this approach. Stand-alone performances of this system is tested for a lane keeping and cruise control application. Performances are promising and future development is discussed.
Orientation of Polar Molecules by Laser Induced Adiabatic Passage

International audience; We show that two overlapping linearly polarized laser pulses of frequencies ω and its second harmonic 2ω can strongly orient linear polar molecules, by adiabatic passage along dressed states. The resulting robust orientation can be interpreted as a laser-induced localization in the effective double well potential created by the fields, which induces a preliminary molecular alignment. The direction of the orientation can be selected by the relative phase of the fields.

Hedonic control of food intake has been studied using neurophysiological investigations in animals and functional imaging in humans. Gustatory evoked potentials (GEPs), a higher time resolution technique than functional imaging, have never been used for this purpose. The first aim of this thesis was to establish a reliable recording of GEPs in humans, in response to a sapid stimulus. The second aim was to determine the GEPs modifications according to the hedonic value of food intake. Our aim was to develop a typology predicting potential N availability of exogenous organic matters (EOMs) in soil based on their chemical characteristics. A database of 273 EOMs was constructed including analytical data of biochemical fractionation, organic C and N, and results of N mineralization during incubation of soil–EOM mixtures in controlled conditions. Multiple factor analysis and hierarchical classification were performed to gather EOMs with similar composition and N mineralization behavior. We study the nonlinear FitzHugh-Nagumo model witch describes the dynamics of excitable neural element. It is well known that this system exhibits three different possible responses. Indeed, the system can be mono-stable, oscillatory or bistable. In the oscillatory regime, the system periodically responds by generating action potential. By contrast, in the mono-stable state the system response remains constant after a transient. Under certain conditions, the system can undergo a bifurcation between the stable and the oscillatory regime via the so called Andronov-Hopf bifurcation. International audience; The study was aimed at determining the relative importance of olfactory and gustatory information for the vin de garde concept, which refers to wine that is intended for aging. First, the study investigated how olfactory information contributed to the assessment of the aging potential of young wine.
