Cross-linking maths: Using keynotes to structure a curriculum for future teachers

International audience; The paper gives an outline of a concept for university maths teacher education, that is based on three keynotes, which are central scientific notions, history and language. Amongst other benefits, the keynotes serve as cross-links between the different courses the students go through in their studies.

KiMo on lyhenne kielitietoisuutta ja monikielisyyttä tukevan pedagogiikan koulutusmallista. KiMo-opinnoissa tutkitaan ja ratkotaan ajankohtaisia monikielisen ja -kulttuurisen koulun ja varhaiskasvatuksen kehittämishaasteita yli tiedekunta- ja laitosrajojen. Tämä uusi koulutusmalli murtaa koulutuksen rajaaitoja, kun varhaiskasvatuksen opettajaopiskelijat, luokanopettaja-opiskelijat ja kieltenopettajaopiskelijat työskentelevät yhdessä. Opettajuutta rakennetaan tutkivalla otteella, yhteisöllisesti ja yhteistyössä muun muassa päiväkotien, koulujen, vanhempien ja kolmannen sektorin toimijoiden kanssa. nonPeerReviewed

Lasīšanas prasmju un iemaņu attīstīšana ietver vairākas lingvistikas dimensijas, tāpēc efektīvu valodas mācību materiālu izstrāde ir ļoti svarīga, lai apgūtu lasītprasmi. Šī pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, vai ievērojamu izdevniecību mācību materiāli atbilst lasītprasmes attīstības teorētiskajam ietvaram. Kā līdzeklis pētījuma mērķa sasniegšanai tiek izmantota B1/Intermediate līmeņa mācību materiālu uzdevumu kvalitatīvā teorētiskā pamatojuma analīze. Pētījuma rezultāti atklāj, ka publicētajos lasīšanas mācību materiālos tiek izmantoti dažādi līdzekļi, lai atbalstītu izglītojamo lasīšanas paņēmienu izpēti un vingrināšanu. Kirjallisuuden hyödyntäminen kieltenopetuksessa Suomessa on ollut suhteellisen vähäistä. Kirjallisuuden käyttö kielten opetuksessa tarjoaa kuitenkin enemmän hyötyjä kuin haasteita. Kielen oppimisen lisäksi kirjallisuuden käytöllä voidaan edistää laajempia opetussuunnitelman mukaisia tavoitteita esimerkiksi ihmisenä kasvua. In Catalonia, in a short period of time, statistics have raised from the 1% recorded ten years ago to the current 13% of students of foreign’s origin. This change has increased linguistic diversity regarding student’s background. However, more than a 50% are from Hispanic origin and the majority have Spanish as their mother tongue. In this case, and strictly from a linguistic point of view, the linguistic immersion programs used in Catalonia to teach Catalan to Spanish students maintain their validity.
