Gastrointestinal toxicity is a frequently observed adverse event during cancer treatment with traditional chemotherapeutics. Currently, traditional chemotherapeutics are often combined with targeted biologic agents. These biologics, however, possess a distinct toxicity profile, and they may also exacerbate the adverse effects of traditional chemotherapeutics. Sākoties jaunajam mācību gadam, pakāpeniska jaunā mācību satura ieviešana ir kļuvusi par vienu no svarīgākajām sarunu tēmām skolās. Projekta Skola2030 mērķis bija attīstīt skolēniem vairākas svarīgas 21. gadsimta prasmes, kā arī koncentrēt uzmanību uz mācību priekšmetu padziļinātu izpratni un padziļināti izprast mācību vielu nevis sadrumstaloti. 2020./2021. mācību gadu skolēni pavadīja attālināti, un tas sagādāja grūtības attīstīt rakstīšanas prasmes angļu valodas mācību stundās. Teaching competences in Secondary Education : analysis of teachers’ profiles

This paper reports some of the findings from a study that aimed to analyse the importance attributed by secondary education teachers from the province of Castellón (Spain) to teaching competencies and to establish professional profiles from their responses. The survey was based on a purposely designed questionnaire answered by a representative sample of 136 secondary teachers from Castellón, representing 23 school departments. From an analysis of the responses we identified three professional profiles based on the importance that teachers attribute to a range of competencies; although all the competencies were valued highly, we found that teachers still consider the traditional delivery of …

No studies to date have tested the relevance of using salt or spices to increase children's vegetable acceptance. Our objective was to compare the effect of repeated exposure (RE) and of flavor-flavor learning (FFL) on toddlers' acceptance of a nonfamiliar vegetable.
