El cáncer de mama (CM) representa la quinta causa de muerte por cáncer en todo el mundo y la segunda en los países desarrollados. El conocimiento de los factores de riesgo que predisponen a padecerlo permite poder desarrollar una prevención primaria y secundaria adecuada, con el fin de disminuir la incidencia de CM en el primer caso y realizar un diagnóstico precoz en el segundo. The major aim has been to understand local people’s perception of vote buying and selling and its effect on democracy and development. I have utilized a qualitative research strategy, using mainly semi-structured interviews, focus group discussions and field observations.
