Organotin(IV)derivatives neurotoxicity and their modulation by Baclofen

Several new diorganotin(IV) and triorganotin(IV) complexes with 4-amino-3- (4-chloro phenyl)]-butanoic acid ( = Baclofen) have been synthesized and their structure investigated both in the solid state and in solution phase through spectroscopic methods (FT-IR, Mössbauer, 1H and 13C NMR). According to experimental analytical data, the stoichiometry of the complexes has been proposed as R2SnBac2 and R3SnBac, respectively for diorganotin(IV) and triorganotin(IV) baclofen complexes. (Baclofen = HBac; R = Me, Bu, Ph).

Does the 5-strand-graft have superior biomechanical behaviour than 4-strand-graft during acl reconstruction?

Purpose. This study aimed to compare the biomechanical proprieties of 4 and 5-strand- grafts. Methods. For the present study, fresh-frozen bovine common digital extensor tendons were used. Tendon grafts were prepared and sized to have a length of almost 27 cm and a cylinder 4 strand diameter of 8 mm. In half of all samples (Group A, n=12,), the graft was formed by 2 bundles duplicated around a metallic rod creating a 4-strand-tendon construct. An Intelligent Car Driver for safe Navigation with Fuzzy Obstacle Avoidance.

In order to respond effectively to the environment uncertainties, autonomous vehicles are generally equipped with sensors. The proposed car guidance system is equipped with an intelligent controller, based on fuzzy logic, which calculates the speed and wheels orientation in order to follow a path while it is avoiding unknown obstacles. Better fluidity of driving are obtained using future-path, car dimension and car position prevision. Vehicle symmetries also speed-up and simplify the guidance system reducing the inputs and the rules numbers.
