The Romantics of 1909: Arthur Symons, Pierre Lasserre and T. E. Hulme

Arthur Symons’s The Romantic Movement in English Poetry (1909) has elicited scant discussion. Part dictionary of British authors born before 1800, part series of portraits of canonical Romantic poets, The Romantic Movement remains perplexing with its unclear purpose and ungainly format. This article argues that Symons’s monograph should be approached in the turn of the century debate on the definition and value of British Romanticism. As opposed to T. E. The mental health of young adults, particularly students, is at high risk during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study was to examine differences in mental health between university students in nine countries during the pandemic. The study encompassed 2349 university students (69% female) from Colombia, the Czech Republic (Czechia), Germany, Israel, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Turkey, and Ukraine. A new dicompartmental dioxime ligand (H(2)L) with m-xylyl spacer between the donor sites has been synthesised by Schiff-base condensation of α,α'-diamino-m-xylene and diacetyl monooxime. The ligand reacts with copper(ii) salts giving rise to hexanuclear tricationic copper(II) cage complexes [Cu(II)(6)(μ(3)-O···H···O-μ(3))L(3)(H(2)O)(6)]X(3) (X = BF(4), 1a; X = ClO(4), 1b). The complexes have been characterised by different analytical and spectroscopic techniques and confirmed the hexanuclear structure even in solution. Sensory panellists are often asked to make intensity judgments for a sensory attribute of a stimulus. However, it is well known that a multidimensional stimulus entails this judgment, and could lead to a carryover effect of the intensity of sensations as a function of the number of available attributes. The sector of the Saint-Étienne necropolis (Beaune), reveals the existence of two clearly separated zones which are characterized by different funeral and cultural practices: tomb architecture, archaeological material and artificially deformed crania. This seems to provide evidence of two distinct groups. A preliminary morpho-metrical study of four skulls and the examination of several CT scans of three of them, allow us to confirm the presence of artificial antero-posterior cranial deformations.

Data of 31 field trials were analysed to quantify the impact of cover crops grown during summerfallow on weeds during this period. Results show that weed abundance at the date of cover-cropdestruction greatly varies between experimental locations which differed in terms of pedoclimate,previous crop etc. Cover-crop above-ground biomass did not impact weed plant density.
