Synthesis, Spectroscopic, and Structural Investigation of the Cyclic [N(PR2E)2]+ Cations (E = Se, Te; R = iPr, Ph): the Effect of Anion and R-Group E…

Two-electron oxidation of the [N(PiPr2E)2]- anion with iodine produces the cyclic [N(PiPr2E)2]+ (E = Se, Te) cations, which exhibit long E−E bonds in the iodide salts [N(PiPr2Se)2]I (4) and [N(PiPr2Te)2]I (5). The iodide salts 4 and 5 are converted to the ion-separated salts [N(PiPr2Se)2]SbF6 (6) and [N(PiPr2Te)2]SbF6 (7) upon treatment with AgSbF6. Compounds 4−7 were characterized in solution by multinuclear NMR, vibrational, and UV−visible spectroscopy supported by DFT calculations. Bakteriofāga AP205 apvalka proteīna strukturālie pētījumi

Darbā ar rentgenstruktūranalīzes palīdzību tika noteikta Acinetobacter fāga AP205 apvalka proteīna struktūra 1,9 Å izšķirtspējā. Proteīna vispārējā struktūra ir līdzīga radniecīgo bakteriofāgu iepriekš noteiktajām struktūrām, bet ir vērojamas vairākas būtiskas atšķirības, no kurām nozīmīgākā ir C- un N- galu atrašanās uz kapsīdas virsmas. Iegūtie rezultāti izskaidro AP205 fāga kapsīdu toleranci pret garām insercijām C- un N- galos, kā arī paver ceļu racionālai apvalka proteīna modificēšanai praktiskiem pielietojumiem. Stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģijas un depresijas simptomi pieaugušajiem ar vecāku alkoholisma pieredzi

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kādas atšķirības pastāv starp stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģiju izmantošanu un depresijas simptomiem pieaugušajiem ar dažādu vecāku alkoholisma pieredzi un pieaugušajiem bez vecāku alkoholisma pieredzes. Kā arī pētījumā tika noskaidrots tas, vai pastāv saistības starp stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģiju izmantošanu un depresijas simptomiem grupās ar tēva, mātes, abu vecāku un bez vecāku alkoholisma pieredzes. Pētījumā piedalījās 104 respondenti. Dalībnieki tika iedalīti četrās grupās: pieaugušie ar tēva alkoholisma pieredzi, pieaugušie ar mātes alkoholisma pieredzi, pieaugušie ar abu vecāku alkoholisma pieredzi un pieaugušie bez vecāku alkoholisma pieredzes. Recovery of aliphatic low-molecular-mass carboxylic acids from hardwood kraft black liquor

Abstract During alkaline pulping of wood, substantial amounts of carbohydrates-derived aliphatic carboxylic acids (formic and acetic acids together with various hydroxy acids) are formed and dissolved into the cooking liquor (“black liquor”). These acids with low heating values are considered to be potential feedstocks for the chemical industry but, due to many factors, their straightforward recovery as free acids from black liquor (pH 13–14) is difficult. The recent discovery of a suitable synthesis of the monoanionic ditelluroimidodiphosphinate ligands [TePR2NPR2Te]− (R = Ph, iPr, tBu) has facilitated investigations of the fundamental chemistry of these chelating inorganic ligands. This article is focused on aspects of that chemistry in which the behaviour of this ditelluro PNP ligand differs from that of the well-studied dithio and diseleno congeners. La sperimentazione esposta tratta dell’impiego di fibre di PET, ricavate dal semplice taglio di contenitori per bevande, nel rinforzo di calcestruzzi destinati anche a impieghi strutturali. Indaga la durabilità delle fibre in ambiente fortemente basico e le caratteristiche meccaniche di calcestruzzi rinforzati con differenti dosaggi di fibre. Le osservazioni al microscopio elettronico a scansione (SEM) di fibre di PET immerse per 13 giorni a 65°C in acqua distillata e in due soluzioni fortemente basiche mostrano la buona durabilità delle fibre in soluzione 0,103 M di NaOH, che simula la basicità della soluzione acquosa che permea la matrice cementizia. Ievads: Visā pasaulē viens no noteicošajiem faktoriem, spriežot par valsts labklājību, ir konkrētas pilsētas un valsts transporta sistēmas iespējas. Latvijā pēdējā laikā ātri attīstās un pilnveidojas sliežu transporta iespējas, līdz ar to dzelzceļa transportlīdzekļu radīto traumu risks var pieaugt. Latvijā dzelzceļā iegūtas traumas atrodas otrajā vietā aiz autotraumām transporta traumu grupā. Periodā no 01.01.2010 līdz 01.01.2019 Rīgās, Rīgas rajona, Ogres un Jūrmalas teritorijā tika reģīstrētas 94 uz dzelzceļā iegūtas traumas ar letālo iznākumu. Spośród trzech mów na temat pokoju pierwszą z nich Grzegorz z Nazjanzu wygłosił najprawdopodobniej w lutym 364 roku. Jej wątkiem wiodącym było przywrócenie pokoju i zgody u zwaśnionych stron we wspólnocie kościelnej Nazjanzu. Powodem sporu okazało się opaczne złożenie podpisu przez Grzegorza Starszego pod wyznaniem wiary, które było w tej miejscowości rozpowszechniane przez ariańskiego przedstawiciela. Dla mówcy podłożem do przywrócenia pokoju były wspólne idee łączące zwaśnione strony, czyli wiara w jednego Boga, zgodne interpretacje zagadnień trynitarnych i pragnienie jedności.
