Story beats in videogames as value-driven choice-based unit operations

We present a framework of story beats, defined as microunits of dramatic action, as a tool for the ludonarrative analysis of videogames. First, we explain the Goal - Action - Reaction - Outcome model of the story beat. Then, we present six types of story beats, Action, Interaction, Inaction, Mental, Emotion, and Sensory, providing videogame examples for each category. Application of Zero Exclusion Condition to Stability Analysis of Computer Networks

Stability, or robust [Dscr ]-stability analysis of computer network considered as a dynamic system, relies on increasing the speed of data transmission while minimizing the queuing time delays of its packets in the router buffers that can affect the overall data flow of the network traffic. We consider a zero exclusion condition as an effective method for testing and analyzing the computer networks stability. La encefalopatía hepática (EH) es un síndrome neuropsiquiátrico complejo que resulta de la insuficiencia hepática. La insuficiencia hepática induce hiperamonemia e inflamación periférica dando lugar a neuroinflamación con activación de microglía y astrocitos y aumento de los niveles de citocinas proinflamatorias. La neuroinflamación altera la neurotransmisión, lo que lleva a un deterioro cognitivo y motor. Evolution of microstructure and related optical properties of ZnO grown by atomic layer deposition.

A study of transmittance and photoluminescence spectra on the growth of oxygen-rich ultra-thin ZnO films prepared by atomic layer deposition is reported. The structural transition from an amorphous to a polycrystalline state is observed upon increasing the thickness. The unusual behavior of the energy gap with thickness reflected by optical properties is attributed to the improvement of the crystalline structure resulting from a decreasing concentration of point defects at the growth of grains. Optical and structural properties of Al 2 O 3 /ZnO nanolaminates deposited by ALD method

International audience; We report on the investigation of optical and structural properties of Al2O3/ZnO nanolaminates. The nanolaminates were deposited on Si and glass substrates by Atomic layer deposition method. Structural properties of nanolaminates were studied by SEM, GIXRD, and AFM. Optical characterization was performed by transmittance and photoluminescence spectroscopy. Complex analysis of monolayer properties was done by ellipsometry. Optical constants for Al2O3 and ZnO monolayer were calculated.
