In this work we report a facile access to a 3,3-disubstituted isobenzofuranone by tandem addition/cyclization reaction to methyl 2-acetylbenzoate in the presence of dimethyl malonate, under basic conditions.
Thiourea Based Tritopic Halogen Bonding Acceptors

Series of thiourea based tritopic receptor molecules were synthesized to be used as building blocks for halogen-bonded assemblies. Here 16 new receptor molecules were synthesized from two different 2,4,6-trialkyl-1,3,5-tris(bromomethyl)benzene starting materials via tris(isothiocyanatomethyl)benzene intermediates. The alkyl substituents in the benzene ring showed to be important for isothiocyanate group formation instead of competing thiocyanate group. The synthesis route allowed us to synthesize the isothiocyanate intermediates and further the receptor molecules without typically used and highly toxic thiophosgene. Cet article vise à alimenter les réflexions ayant actuellement cours sur le bien fondé de ces formules de rémunérations, en portant un intérêt particulier aux pratiques observées, à leurs finalités et à leurs conséquences économiques, politiques, sociales, culturelles... finalement à leur dimension éthique. Se référant au courant téléologique de la pensée éthique, sont étudiées dans une première section les conséquences pour les actionnaires, qui en prennent la décision, de l'adoption de ces formules de rémunération. L'analyse est poursuivie du point de vue d'autres parties prenantes (dirigeants, salariés, prêteurs...).

(VF)Notre analyse originale porte sur la pertinence des explications des rachats d’actions en confrontant les motivations des rachats annoncés au faible taux de rachats effectifs mesuré sur le marché français. Nous mobilisons les principales explications théoriques des rachats d’actions et nous proposons une étude empirique de plusieurs centaines de programmes de rachats afin de justifier l’intention volontaire des dirigeants de ne pas engager des rachats importants en dépit de ceux annoncés provoquant ainsi un découplage. Stereoselective Synthesis of Spiro-Decalin Oxindole Derivatives via Sequential Organocatalytic Michael-Domino Michael/Aldol Reaction.

A highly stereoselective procedure for the synthesis of spiro-polycyclic oxindoles bearing five contiguous stereogenic centers including two tetrasubstituted carbons has been developed. Under sequential organocatalysis performed by a pyrrolidine-based organocatalyst and DBU, a highly atom-economical Michael–domino Michael/aldol reaction sequence was optimized, yielding variously functionalized spiro-decalin oxindoles with excellent stereoselectivity (>99:1 dr, up to 92% ee). peerReviewed
