Filtering for Discrete Fuzzy Stochastic Time-Delay Systems with Sensor Saturation

Robust Observer Design for Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy Systems with Mixed Neutral and Discrete Delays and Unknown Inputs

Also available from the publisher:http://dx.doi.org/10.1155/2012/635709 A robust observer design is proposed for Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy neutral models with unknown inputs. The model consists of a mixed neutral and discrete delay, and the disturbances are imposed on both state and output signals. Delay-dependent sufficient conditions for the design of an unknown input T-S observer with time delays are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Some relaxations are introduced by using intermediate variables. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the given results.

Fuzzy Variable Structure Control for Uncertain Systems with Disturbance

Also available from the publisher:http://dx.doi.org/10.1155/2012/105074 This paper focuses on the fuzzy variable structure control for uncertain systems with disturbance. Specifically, the fuzzy control is introduced to estimate the control disturbance, the switching control is included to compensate for the approximation error, and they possess the characteristic of simpleness in design and effectiveness in attenuating the control chattering. Some typical numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness and advantage of the fuzzy variable structure controller proposed.

Discretization algorithm for real value attributes is of very important uses in many areas such as intelligence and machine learning. Dynamics of a Single Species in a Fluctuating Environment under Periodic Yield Harvesting

We discuss the effect of a periodic yield harvesting on a single species population whose dynamics in a fluctuating environment is described by the logistic differential equation with periodic coefficients. This problem was studied by Brauer and Sánchez (2003) who attempted the proof of the existence of two positive periodic solutions; the flaw in their argument is corrected. Tyrosine Phosphorylation Modulates the Vascular Responses of Mesenteric Arteries from Human Colorectal Tumors

The aim of this study was to analyze whether tyrosine phosphorylation in tumoral arteries may modulate their vascular response. To do this, mesenteric arteries supplying blood flow to colorectal tumors or to normal intestine were obtained during surgery and prepared for isometric tension recording in an organ bath. Increasing tyrosine phosphorylation with the phosphatase inhibitor, sodium orthovanadate produced arterial contraction which was lower in tumoral than in control arteries, whereas it reduced the contraction to noradrenaline in tumoral but not in control arteries and reduced the relaxation to bradykinin in control but not in tumoral arteries. Input-to-State Stability of Lur’e Hyperbolic Distributed Complex-Valued Parameter Control Systems: LOI Approach

Using comparison principle, delay-dependent sufficient conditions for the input-to-state stability in complex Hilbert spaces are established in terms of linear operator inequalities.
