Osady ściekowe są produktem ubocznym procesów oczyszczania ścieków. Wykazują jednak wysokie właściwości nawo-zowe oraz glebotwórcze, jednak nie zawsze mogą być one wykorzystane w tym celu. Dwa główne kryteria ograniczające ich przyrodnicze wykorzystanie to zawartość metali ciężkich oraz jaj pasożytów. Osady ściekowe pobrane z oczyszczalni ścieków w Daleszycach zostały poddane analizie zawartości metali ciężkich. W tym celu wykonano analizę specjacyjną, pozwalającą podzielić całkowitą zawartość metali na cztery frakcje mobilności. From bid-rigging to subcontracting: the Italian experience

Purpose – The aim of this paper is to provide insights into bid rigging, especially when it meets the instrument of subcontracting. In particular, the Italian experience will be used to illustrate how said instrument can raise both competition and corruption problems when designing a sound public procurement regulation. Design/methodology/approach – This paper draws on reports, legal scholarship, and other open-source data to examine the legislative framework surrounding subcontracting and the issues related to bid rigging and corruption. Bakalaura darbā apskatīta Markova modeļu teorija ar absorbējošiem stāvokļiem, ar mērķi šos modeļus pielietot izglītības datu analīzei. Tiek izmantoti Latvijas Universitātes Fizikas, Matemātikas un Optomerijas fakultātes studentu mācību ilguma dati par studentiem, kas fakultātē iestājušies no 2006.gada līdz 2016.gadam. Tika pielāgoti fakultātes programmām atbilstoši Markova modeļi, ar kuru palīdzību analizēts studentu mācību progress, aprēķināts, cik liela daļa studentu pabeidz studijas. Tika veikti secinājumi, kādi ir lielākie šķēršļi absolvēt un ko studiju organizēšanā varētu uzlabot.

Treść artykułu dotyczy problematyki regulacji przestępstwa obcowania płciowego z małoletnim z art. 200 § 1 Kodeksu karnego. W tym zakresie stwierdzono pewną niepełność w aktualnej regulacji, identyfikując ją oraz podając rozwiązanie w postaci propozycji, tj. znowelizowania art. 200 k.k. przez dodanie do niego § 2, który opisywałby to przestępstwo w ramach quasi-typu uprzywilejowanego jako wypadek mniejszej wagi. Sformułowanie niniejszego rozwiązania stanowi ocenę aktualnego stanu prawnego przez zwrócenie uwagi na potrzebę zmiany uregulowania prawnego w tym zakresie

Accumulating evidence indicates that gut microbiota plays a significant role in obesity, insulin resistance and associated liver disorders. Family Enterobacteriaceae and especially Enterobacter cloacae strain B29 have been previously linked to obesity and hepatic damage. The underlying mechanisms, however, remain unclear. Therefore, we comprehensively examined the effects of E. cloacae subsp. cloacae (ATCC® 13047™) administration on host metabolism of mice fed with high-fat diet (HFD). Nanokristāliskā itrija oksīda lokālās struktūras pētījumi

Darbā tiek pētīta nanokristāliskā (2 – 50 nm) itrija (III) oksīda (Y2O3) lokālā struktūra, izmantojot dažādas eksperimentālās (rentgenstaru difrakcijas, Ramana spektroskopijas, caurejošās elektronu mikroskopijas, rentgenabsorbcijas spektroskopijas) un teorētiskās (klasiskās molekulārās dinamikas (CMD) un apgrieztās Monte-Karlo (RMC)) metodes. Rentgenabsorbcijas spektri, kas satur informāciju par materiāla lokālo struktūru, tika iegūti izmantojot sinhrotrono starojumu. Iegūtie spektri tika interpretēti, veicot teorētiskos aprēķinus uz superdatora. Darbā tiek analizēti materiālu lokālo struktūru raksturojošie lielumi atkarībā no nanodaļiņu izmēra.
