Il saggio cerca di ricostruire le dinamiche familiari di fronte alla scoperta di una/un figlia/o LGBT. Il contributo, nello specifico, intende delineare i processi di reazione a quanto ancora possiamo definire un rapporto di filiazione imprevista, un evento di fatto spiazzante che porta alla ridefinizione degli equilibri famigliari attraverso il diverso ruolo svolto dalle differenze personali (per esempio, il genere dei genitori), socio-culturali e rispetto alle risorse disponibili (reti sociali, strategie di fronteggiamento, ecc.) possedute nel momento in cui la sessualità dei propr* figli* viene socializzata, sospettata, scoperta o appresa da terzi all’interno dei contesti familiari.

Šī pētījuma mērķis ir salīdzināt profesionālo subtitrēsanu ar fansubēšanu. Tiek salīdzinātas arī pašu profesionālo subtitrētāju un fansubētāju attieksmes. Fansubēšanas iesākums meklējams japāņu animācijas filmu tulkojumā, bet mūsdienās tas pārgājis uz citām jomām. Savukārt profesionālā subtitrēšana attīstījusies reizē ar filmu mediju. Pati fansubēšana ir cieši saistīta ar pirātismu un pārkāpj autortiesības. Pētījuma teorētiskajā daļā analizēti teorētiskie materiāli, kas ļāva atšķirt katra subtitrēšanas veida galvenās pazīmes. Dada la importante influencia de Marx y Engels en el análisis de la estructura social, no sorprende el notable impacto de su obra en el estudio del papel de la mujer en la familia. Sin embargo, su herencia en este ámbito sociológico ha dado lugar a interpretaciones muy polarizadas. Este artículo quiere aportar algo de luz evidenciando las contradicciones del marxismo al estudiar el papel de la mujer en la familia. Para ello se comparan las contribuciones de Marx y Engels para calibrar posibles diferencias en las posturas de dos autores que en otros ámbitos han presentado un pensamiento muy homogéneo. Šajā maģistra darbā ir pētītas subtitru tulkošanas īpatnības un analizēts autora veikts subtitru tulkojums. Analizētie piemēri ir grupēti pēc izlaistās informācijas rakstura. Darbā ilustrētas teorētiskās atziņas par subtitru tulkošanu, kā arī, balstoties autora darba pieredzi, interviju ar „SDI Media Latvia” redaktori Lailu Moreinu un uzņēmumā izmantotajām vadlīnijām, aprakstīta praktiskā subtitru tulkošanas situācija Latvijā. Darba nobeigumā ir apskatāmi analizētie subtitru tulkošanas piemēri; 2. pielikumā ir 605. subtitru tulkojums.
Vietvārdu analīze Holivudas filmu subtitros

Šajā bakalaura darbā tiek analizēts vietvārdu konteksts un pieminēšanas biežums 1997.-2006. gada 550 Amerikā pelnošāko filmu subtitros. Pētījuma mērķis ir noteikt un klasificēt kontekstu, kādā tiek pieminēti Eiropas vietvārdi, kā arī pētīt visu vietvārdu pieminēšanas biežumu. Mērķis tika sasniegts, izveidojot subtitru korpusu un veicot summatīvo kontentanalīzi. Kontentanalīze parādīja, ka subtitri lielākoties ir ASV-centriski, jo 54% no visām pieminētajām vietām atrodas ASV. Otrā visbiežāk pieminētā valsts ir Lielbritānija, taču tā tiek pieminēta tikai 10% apmērā salīdzinājumā ar ASV. Chemical Composition and Free Radical Scavenging Activity of the Essential Oil of Achillea ligustica Growing Wild in Lipari (Aeolian Islands, Sicily)

In the present study the chemical composition of the essential oils from aerial parts and flowers of Achillea ligustica All., collected in Lipari (Aeolian Islands) was evaluated by GC and GC-MS. ( Z)-Chrysanthenyl acetate was the most abundant component of both oils (29.6% in A1 and 27.8% in F1), followed by viridiflorol (16.8% in A1 and 21.6% in F1), bornyl acetate (8.7% in A1 and 11.6% in F1) and 1,8-cineole (7.4% in A1 and 9.3% in F1). A comparison was made of the composition of the different populations studied so far. Futhermore, the free radical scavenging activity of the oil was determined by DPPH and ABTS methods.

El nostre objectiu en aquest article és fer una síntesi dels principals estudis d’Alfred Morel-Fatio sobre llengua i literatura catalanes, així com definir el seu paper en la catalanística del segle XIX, especialment a França però també a la resta d’Europa. Cal saber que aquest erudit francès va tenir un paper cabdal en el desplegament dels estudis universitaris catalans fora del nostre àmbit lingüístic, a banda de fer aportacions significatives al desplegament de la filologia catalana. Abstract The study aims at determining the financial performance of companies in the pharmaceutical industry between 2009 and 2014 by means of the indicator of the financial return rate, using multiple linear regressions as research method. By analysing the evolution of the share of companies in the pharmaceutical industry based on the trend of the financial rate of return, we can estimate that the number of entities that resort to supporting the financial activities from loans and liabilities is growing in the period under analysis. South American tropical and subtropical speleothem δ18O time series are primarily interpreted to reflect changes in precipitation amount, the amount effect, and consequently history of convection intensity variability of convergence zones such as the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and the South America Monsoon System (SAMS).
