Bakalaura darbā “Autobiogrāfiskie aspekti Gintera Grasa prozā” tiek pētīta Gintera Grasa biogrāfijas ietekme uz viņa literāro daiļradi. Darba mērķis ir noteikt, kādus autobiogrāfiskos aspektus Ginters Grass izmantojis autobiogrāfijā “Lobotsīpolu”, kā arī romānā “Skārda bungas” un novelē “Kaķis un pele”. Izpētes procesā tiek analizētas atmiņas metaforas un svarīgākās tēmas Gintera Grasa autobiogrāfijā “Lobot sīpolu”, kā arī tā tiek salīdzināta ar romānu “Skārdabungas” un noveli “Kaķis un pele”. W artykule podjęto próbę rozpoznania strategii autobiograficznych prezentacji obecnych w twórczości Juliana Kornhausera. Autor stara się opisać fragmenty biografii autora Origami, skupiając się na charakterystycznych dla poety sposobach dyskretnego mówienia o sobie (dystans narracyjny, rozdźwięk pomiędzy narratorem a bohaterem, ukrywanie zarówno postaci bohatera, jak i rzeczywistych osób pod zasłoną inicjału). Self-depiction of feminine authors conveys something original in a field where it usually is a way to express a private fantasy. This paper is an attempt to present the numerous analogies in Władysław Stanisław Reymont‘s and Maxim Gorky‘s outlook on life. It seems that the affinity is partially determined by the coincident biographies of both writers. In literary studies thematic parallels in the writers‘ prose works are frequently mentioned. The paper constitutes a continuation thereof, presenting the problems from a biographical perspective. The paper dedicated to the Polish-Russian literary relations at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries belongs to the area of comparative studies.
Szkic z dziejów leksykografii dwujęzycznej: Paweł Sobolewski i jego Słownik angielsko-polski… (1840)

This article focuses on Paweł Sobolewski’s manuscript dictionary, Słownik angielsko- polski… (1840), which his biographers allege was lost during shipment from America to Europe. However, part of the manuscript embracing the alphabet range B‒E is held at the archive of the Polish Library in Paris, thus allowing the author to discuss facts and myths concerning the dictionary, and make an attempt at its assessment. Much attention is paid in the paper to Sobolewski’s biography, which may be illustrated and partly verified with the extant correspondence.
