We report an analysis of charmless hadronic decays of charged B mesons to the final state K{sup +}{pi}{sup 0}{pi}{sup 0}, using a data sample of (470.9 {+-} 2.8) x 10{sup 6} B{bar B} events collected with the BABAR detector at the {Gamma}(4S) resonance. We observe an excess of signal events, with a significance above 10 standard deviations including systematic uncertainties, and measure the branching fraction and CP asymmetry to be {Beta}(B{sup +} {yields} K{sup +}{pi}{sup 0}{pi}{sup 0}) = (16.2 {+-} 1.2 {+-} 1.5) x 10{sup -6} and A{sub CP}(B{sup +} {yields} K{sup +}{pi}{sup 0}{pi}{sup 0}) = -0.06 {+-} 0.06 {+-} 0.04, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. Measurement of theB→D¯(*)D(*)Kbranching fractions

The authors present a measurement of the branching fractions of the 22 decay channels of the B{sup 0} and B{sup +} mesons to {bar D}{sup (*)}D{sup (*)}K, where the D{sup (*)} and {bar D}{sup (*)} mesons are fully reconstructed. Summing the 10 neutral modes and the 12 charged modes, the branching fractions are found to be {Beta}(B{sup 0} {yields} {bar D}{sup (*)}D{sup (*)}K) = (3.68 {+-} 0.10 {+-} 0.24)% and {Beta}(B{sup +} {yields} {bar D}{sup (*)}D{sup (*)}K) = (4.05 {+-} 0.11 {+-} 0.28)%, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. Measurement of the branching ratio of the decay Ξ0→Σ+μ−ν¯μ

Abstract From the 2002 data taking with a neutral kaon beam extracted from the CERN-SPS, the NA48/1 experiment observed 97 Ξ 0 → Σ + μ − ν ¯ μ candidates with a background contamination of 30.8 ± 4.2 events. From this sample, the BR ( Ξ 0 → Σ + μ − ν ¯ μ ) is measured to be ( 2.17 ± 0.32 stat ± 0.17 syst ) × 10 − 6 .
A study of the decay width difference in the B0s– system using φφ correlations

In a data sample of about four million hadronic Z decays recorded with the ALEPH detector from 1991 to 1995, the decay is observed, based on tagging the final state with two φ mesons in the same hemisphere. The final state is mostly CP even and corresponds to the short-lived B0s mass eigenstate. The branching ratio of this decay is measured to be . A measurement of the lifetime of the B0s(short) gives 1.27±0.33±0.08 ps. The lifetime and branching ratio measurements provide two essentially independent methods of estimating the relative decay width difference ΔΓ/Γ in the B0s– system, corresponding to an average value ΔΓ/Γ=(25+21−14)%.

Abstract By analyzing 2.93 fb − 1 of data taken at the ψ ( 3770 ) resonance peak with the BESIII detector, we measure the branching fractions for the hadronic decays D + → K S 0 K S 0 K + , D + → K S 0 K S 0 π + , D 0 → K S 0 K S 0 and D 0 → K S 0 K S 0 K S 0 . Measurement of the KL→e+e−e+e− decay rate

Abstract The decay rate of the long-lived neutral K meson into the e + e − e + e − final state has been measured with the NA48 detector at the CERN SPS. Using data collected in 1998 and 1999, a total of 200 events has been observed with negligible background. This observation corresponds to a branching ratio of Br ( K L → e + e − e + e − ) = ( 3.30 ± 0.24 stat ± 0.23 syst ± 0.10 norm ) × 10 −8 .
Search for muoproduction of X(3872) at COMPASS and indication of a new state X˜(3872)

Abstract We have searched for exclusive production of exotic charmonia in the reaction μ + N → μ + ( J / ψ π + π − ) π ± N ′ using COMPASS data collected with incoming muons of 160 GeV/c and 200 GeV/c momentum. In the J / ψ π + π − mass distribution we observe a signal with a statistical significance of 4.1 σ. Its mass and width are consistent with those of the X ( 3872 ) . The shape of the π + π − mass distribution from the observed decay into J / ψ π + π − shows disagreement with previous observations for X ( 3872 ) . The observed signal may be interpreted as a possible evidence of a new charmonium state. It could be associated with a neutral partner of X ( 3872 ) with C = − 1 predicted b…
First observation and amplitude analysis of theB−→D+K−π−decay

The B- -> D+K-pi(-) decay is observed in a data sample corresponding to 3.0 fb(-1) of pp collision data recorded by the LHCb experiment during 2011 and 2012. Its branching fraction is measured to be B(B- -> D+K-pi(-)) = (7.31 +/- 0.19 +/- 0.22 +/- 0.39) x 10(-5) where the uncertainties are statistical, systematic and from the branching fraction of the normalization channel B- -> D+pi(-)pi(-), respectively. An amplitude analysis of the resonant structure of the B- -> D+K-pi(-) decay is used to measure the contributions from quasi-two-body B- -> D-0* (2400)K-0(-), B- -> D-2* (2460)K-0(-), and B- -> D-J* (2760)K-0(-) decays, as well as from nonresonant sources. Evidence forηc(2S)inψ(3686)→γKS0K±π∓π+π−

We search for the M1 radiative transition psi(3686) -> gamma eta(c)(2S) by reconstructing the exclusive eta(c)(2S) -> (KSK +/-)-K-0 pi(-/+)pi(+)pi(-) decay using 1.06 X 10(8) psi(3686) events collected with the BESIII detector. The signal is observed with a statistical significance of greater than 4 standard deviations. The measured mass of the eta(c)(2S) is 3646.9 +/- 1.6(stat) +/- 3.6(syst) MeV/c(2), and the width is 9.9 +/- 4.8(stat) +/- 2.9(syst) MeV/c(2). The product branching fraction is measured to be B(psi(3686) -> gamma eta(c)(2S)) X B(eta(c)(2S) -> gamma(KSK +/-)-K-0 pi(-/+)pi(+)pi(-) = (7.03 +/- 2.10(stat) +/- 0.70(syst)) X 10(-6). Study of e+e−→pp¯ in the vicinity of ψ(3770)

Using 2917 pb(-1) of data accumulated at 3.773 GeV, 44.5 pb(-1) of data accumulated at 3.65 GeV and data accumulated during a psi(3770) line-shape scan with the BESIII detector, the reaction e(+)e(-) -> p (p) over bar is studied considering a possible interference between resonant and continuum amplitudes. The cross section of e(+)e(-) -> psi(3770) -> p (p) over bar, sigma(e(+)e(-)-> psi(3770) -> p (p) over bar), is found to have two solutions, determined to be (0.059(-0.020)(+0.070) +/- 0.012) pb with the phase angle phi = (255.8(-26.6)(+39.0) +/- 4.8). ( psi(3770) -> p ) = (2.57(-0.13)(+0.12) +/- 0.12) pb with phi = (266.9(-6.3)(+6.1) +/- 0.9)degrees both of which agree with a destructive…
