Pētījuma „Sociālā funkcionēšana pēc aortas vārstuļa protezēšanas vēlīnajā pēcoperācijas periodā” mērķis ir izpētīt sociālo funkcionēšanu pēc aortas vārstuļa protezēšanas vēlīnajā pēcoperācijas periodā un noteikt baiļu iespējamo ietekmi sociālās funkcionēšanas rādītājos. Kvantitatīvā pētījuma rezultātā hipotēzes tiek galvenokārt apstiprinātas. Iegūtie dati raksturo fizisko un emocionālo pašsajūtu, attiecības ar līdzcilvēkiem un dzīvesveidu pēc aortas vārstuļa protezēšanas, kā arī baiļu ietekmi uz šiem rādītājiem. Effect of postbleaching application of an antioxidant on enamel bond strength of three different adhesives

Objectives: The aim of this study was to compare the shear bond strength (sbs) of three different adhesives on bleached enamel immmmediately after bleaching, bleached/delayed for 1 week, and bleached/applied antioxidizing agent. Study Design: The enamel surfaces of 144 freshly extracted incisors without any caries and restorations were flattened and divided into 12 groups. The following adhesives were investigated: Optibond FL (OFL) (three-step etch&rinse), Optibond Solo Plus (OSP) (two-step etch&rinse), Optibond All-in-One (OA) (one-step self-etch), (Kerr, Orange, USASA). Displacements measurement in a building model using the speckle photography technique

The use of reduced scale models in civil engineering has made it possible to study large structures such as buildings. Using non-destructive optical techniques such as double-exposure speckle photography, extremely valuable results can be obtained, where mathematical methods are often not very exact. This work studies the model of an eighteen-storey building in which displacements can be measured at each storey of each view. It also presents a comparison of the displacement field, which was obtained with the Finite Element Method.
