L’importance de l’artisanat autunois et son développement jusqu’au iiie siècle prennent racine à Bibracte qui a su exploiter les ressources naturelles de son environnement et parfaire un savoir-faire local ayant survécu à la conquête. Les recherches sur ces activités manufacturières menées conjointement à Bibracte et à Autun nous offrent ainsi une opportunité d’étudier ces problématiques sur la durée. ‘Each flight is different’ : Carbon emissions of selected flights in three geographical markets

Air travel is considered the biggest individual climate sin. Avoiding flying, however, seems impossible. In this paper we argue that the flight a passenger chooses can be significant. For this purpose we compared the carbon emissions of selected flights in three geographical markets. We found tremendous differences in the environmental performance of individual flights. Furthermore, we also found that flying with the most modern aircraft or flying non-stop represents, in many cases, the least polluting option. Nevertheless, we were able to show that there are exceptions to this rule. Based on our results, we provide recommendations to the industry and for further research. peerReviewed
BVLOS UAS Operations in Highly-Turbulent Volcanic Plumes.

Long-range, high-altitude Unoccupied Aerial System (UAS) operations now enable in-situ measurements of volcanic gas chemistry at globally-significant active volcanoes. However, the extreme environments encountered within volcanic plumes present significant challenges for both air frame development and in-flight control. As part of a multi-disciplinary field deployment in May 2019, we flew fixed wing UAS Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) over Manam volcano, Papua New Guinea, to measure real-time gas concentrations within the volcanic plume. For the promotion of cottage industries, a state administrative organ and a network of cottage industry associations and schools were established. A sphere developed and monitored by specialists, cottage industry policies were planned as official committee work. This first synthesis concerns the animal bones, discovered since 1975 in Aventicum, the capital of Roman Switzerland. It is supported by the analysis of several residential districts, public sectors and suburbs, which represent five hundred chronological complexes and 74000 animal bones, dated from the Ist, to the IVth Century AD. Abstract Anhydrous lanthanide halides — chlorides and bromides — can act as homogeneous catalysts of Friedel–Crafts acylations. The catalytic activity is related to the solubility of these anhydrous salts. More soluble THF or dioxane (Diox.) neodymium and samarium adducts are more active catalysts.
UraniumIV and uranyle salts, efficient and reusable catalysts for acylation of aromatic compounds

Abstract Uranium tetrachloride, uranyle chloride, fluoride and also nitrate or acetate are very efficient homogeneous catalysts for the Friedel–Crafts acylation of aromatic compounds. With uranyle salts, the reaction, carried under dry air, is highly specific and the mono- or bisacylation products are obtained in high yield. Uranyle catalyst can be quantitatively recovered and reused and the organic products are obtained free of uranium.
Friedel-Crafts catalytic alkylations using rare earth-based mineral supports

Abstract Rare earth halides supported on mineral supports (K10 montmorillonite and silica) were investigated as catalysts for Friedel-Crafts alkylations. This project concerns the replacement of the widely used Lewis acid AlCl3 in Friedel-Crafts reactions by environmentally friendly catalysts in that they circumvent the production of aluminum waste. The catalytic activity of these heterogeneous catalysts was established in a series of alkylations of aromatic compounds.

Šis maģistra darbs ir par Hovarda Filipsa Lavkrafta izdomu valodu “R’lje”, kura pastāv viņa pat izdomātā pasaulē ar nosaukumu “Cthulhu Mythos”. Šo valodu var sastapt vairākās grāmatās, filmā un arī videospēlē, bet šis maģistra darbs būs vairāk koncentrēts uz to valodu, kura sastopama tikai grāmatās un videospēlē.
