2019

[Current developments and perspectives on the diagnosis and treatment of urinary incontinence and genital prolapse in women].
2012
As a key area of gynaecology, urogynaecology has undergone impressive changes in the past few years. Together with the high prevalence of functional pelvic floor disorders, modern anaesthesia procedures and the introduction of new, innovative minimally invasive operation techniques have led to a dramatic increase in the number of operations for incontinence and prolapses. The increasingly subtle diagnostic options, such as, e. g., 2D and 3D sonography of the pelvic floor provide unambiguous findings and facilitate decision making. Tension-free vaginal slings in retro-pubic, trans-obturator or single-incision techniques show a high success rate with few complications and have almost complete…

2021
Digital teaching competence is one of the main teacher training needs today. However, teacher training curricula show a significant gap in this area. The objective of this study is to carry out a systematic review of scientific articles published between 2011 and 2020 that analyze the digital teaching competence of pre-service teachers who are mainly studying in Spanish universities. The reviewed studies show that there is great heterogeneity in the theoretical frameworks and instruments employed. The Emergence of Universities in the Middle Ages

The chapter begins with an analysis of the historical context in which European universities were born. The time of the emergence of universities (the twelfth and thirteenth centuries) coincided with a major medieval transition period in Europe, characterised by changes both in social power structures and in the ecclesiastical thinking of the Catholic Church. The analysis is followed by a description of the emergence of the first universities – Bologna and Paris – which became the models for other universities. The idea of restoring the true and original university (reformatio) was followed at the new universities founded throughout Europe, even though each university developed its own vers…

The messages were coded with sequential classification and grouped into positive, negative and both posi…
