The text deals with some linguistic and sociolinguistic issues connected to the formation and usage of feminine job titles used in the contemporary French and Czech language. First, it concetrates on the relationship between the language and society. Second, it focuses on the word formation of feminine nouns in both languages. The main purpose of this paper is to answer the ąuestion in which language the linguistic feminisation is more eased.

The main goal of this paper is to compare a sample of neological loanwords from the gastronomic sector in French and Czech. Teacher self-efficacy is a crucial personal characteristic that is important not only for teachers’ well-being but also for the overall teaching and learning. However, the difficulty to ascertain scalar invariance in the measurement of the construct has beset previous attempts of cross-cultural comparisons. This study implements an alignment optimisation method to compare and rank mean teacher self-efficacy of over 150,000 teachers across 48 countries and economies that participated in the Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS) that was conducted 2018. Pielgrzymka Ślązaków do Rzymu i Viterbo w 1967 r. Na drodze polsko-niemieckiego pojednania

W dniach od 11 do 21 maja 1967 r. grupa 641 niemieckich Ślązaków pielgrzymowała do Rzymu i Viterbo. Ich celem było wspólne dziękczynienie za dar kanonizacji św. Jadwigi, jakiej w 1267 r. dokonał w Viterbo papież Klemens IV. W taki sposób chciano publicznie zamanifestować obecność Ślązaków w przestrzeni publicznej. W Rzymie i Viterbo modlono się wspólnie za śląską ojczyznę i śląskie rodziny, podzielone poglądami politycznymi, narodowymi i wreszcie żelazną kurtyną. Główne uroczystości dziękczynne miały miejsce w katedrze w Viterbo. Dodatkowo świętowano 100. rocznicę powstania śląskiej grupy maltańskiej, którym patronuje św. Synthesis and Antileukemic Activity of New 3-(5-Methylisoxazol-3-yl) and 3-(Pyrimidin-2-yl)-2-styrylquinazolin-4(3H)-ones.

3-(3-Methylisoxazol-5-yl) and 3-(pyrimidin-2-yl)-2-styrylquinazolin-4(3H)-ones 8a–l and 9a,c–e,h–l were synthesized by refluxing in acetic acid the corresponding 2-methylquinazolinones 6 and 8 with the opportune benzoic aldehyde for 12 h. The synthesized styrylquinazolinones 8a–l and 9a,c–e,h–l were tested in vitro for their antileukemic activity against L-1210 (murine leukemia), K-562 (human chronic myelogenous leukemia) and HL-60 (human leukemia) cell lines showing in some cases good activity.

Mercury concentration in lichen, moss and soil samples collected from the forest areas of Praded and Glacensis Euroregions (Poland and Czech Republic)

The concentration of mercury was determined in samples of the lichen Hypogymnia physodes, the moss Pleurozium schreberi, and the soil humus collected in Polish and Czech Euroregions Praded and Glacensis. The sampling sites were located in Bory Stobrawskie, Bory Niemodlińskie and Kotlina Kłodzka in Poland, and in Jeseniki and Gory Orlickie in the Czech Republic. The mean concentrations of mercury accumulated in the lichen (0.129 mg g(-1)), in the moss (0.094 mg g(-1)) and in soil (0.286 mg g(-1)) were fairly close to the corresponding concentrations in other low-industrialized regions. Przedstawione zostały frazeologizmy z nadrzędnym komponentem bouřka i komponentami blesk, hrom, vítr, określającymi zjawiska towarzyszące burzy, stanowiące równocześnie jej podstawowe oznaki utrwalone w języku. Omówione w artykule jednostki frazeologiczne służą wyrażaniu głównie negatywnego wartościowania, które wypływa z ludzkiego doświadczenia, z kontaktu z groźnymi zjawiskami przyrodniczymi.
