En este estudio se busca explorar la dimensionalidad de la experiencia de ser voluntario en un megaevento religioso a través del concepto valor analizado con un enfoque diacrónico: pre-uso (valor esperado) vs. post-uso (valor percibido). Novel schemes based on the design of complex three-dimensional (3D) nanoscale architectures are required for the development of the next generation of advanced electronic components. He+ focused-ion-beam (FIB) microscopy in combination with a precursor gas allows one to fabricate 3D nanostructures with an extreme resolution and a considerably higher aspect ratio than FIB-based methods, such as Ga+ FIB-induced deposition, or other additive manufacturing technologies. Artykuł przedstawia wyniki pilotażowych badań eksploracyjnych, których celem było rozpoznanie różnic występujących pomiędzy udziałem trzech kultur w procesach uczenia się w obszarach hominizacji człowieka dorosłego. W związku z czym przedmiotem badań jest międzypokoleniowe uczenie się rozpatrywane w kontekście poszczególnych wymiarów egzystencji. Badania zostały przeprowadzone w województwie opolskim, próba badawcza liczyła 50 respondentów. Posłużono się ilościową strategią badań, stosując autorskie narzędzie pomiaru. Magnetic quantum criticality in quasi-one-dimensional Heisenberg antiferromagnet Cu(C4H4N2)(NO3)2

We analyze exciting recent measurements [Phys. Rev. Lett. 114 (2015) 037202] of the magnetization, differential susceptibility and specific heat on one dimensional Heisenberg antiferromagnet Cu(C4H4N2)(NO3)2 (CuPzN) subjected to strong magnetic fields. Using the mapping between magnons (bosons) in CuPzN and fermions, we demonstrate that magnetic field tunes the insulator towards quantum critical point related to so-called fermion condensation quantum phase transition (FCQPT) at which the resulting fermion effective mass diverges kinematically. On the CAT(0) dimension of 2-dimensional Bestvina-Brady groups

Let K be a 2-dimensional finite flag complex. We study the CAT(0) dimension of the `Bestvina-Brady group', or `Artin kernel', Gamma_K. We show that Gamma_K has CAT(0) dimension 3 unless K admits a piecewise Euclidean metric of non-positive curvature. We give an example to show that this implication cannot be reversed. Different choices of K lead to examples where the CAT(0) dimension is 3, and either (i) the geometric dimension is 2, or (ii) the cohomological dimension is 2 and the geometric dimension is not known.
Signal dimension estimation in BSS models with serial dependence

Many modern multivariate time series datasets contain a large amount of noise, and the first step of the data analysis is to separate the noise channels from the signals of interest. A crucial part of this dimension reduction is determining the number of signals. In this paper we approach this problem by considering a noisy latent variable time series model which comprises many popular blind source separation models. We propose a general framework for the estimation of the signal dimension that is based on testing for sub-sphericity and give examples of different tests suitable for time series settings. The structural dimension of music plays an important role in its affective appreciation. One particular aspect is related to the temporal succession of moments, each characterized by particular musical properties. One classical approach in computational modelling of this aspect is based on similarity matrix representations, where successive states are visualized by successive squares along the main diagonal, bearing some resemblance to checkerboards. On a nonlinear Schrödinger equation for nucleons in one space dimension

We study a 1D nonlinear Schrödinger equation appearing in the description of a particle inside an atomic nucleus. For various nonlinearities, the ground states are discussed and given in explicit form. Their stability is studied numerically via the time evolution of perturbed ground states. In the time evolution of general localized initial data, they are shown to appear in the long time behaviour of certain cases.
